I agree. If the players can't get the running game going, then go with something that does work and if that means having Ganz throw the ball the entire game, so be it. I agree too, however, I don't like that Ganz gets turnover happy when he throws alot. TT scored off of 4 turnovers in the last debacle...we definately don't need to give them the same opportunity again. werent those 4 off beau davis? i think ganz is a little more solid then that. but yes. ive been trying to say this all year. gun it out. when we go into 2 minute spread we litterally coast the ball down the field as it seems effortlessly. does anyone know what kind of defense tech runs? i havent really scouted this game at all as there seemed no point.

panic no huddle the whole game anyone? watch tapes from the past two years. when we have to get down the field fast...we have been nothing but succesful flinging the ball down the field. take vt this year. texas a m last. and a few others. idc if ganz throws 50 times if were putting 50 on the board!

Is the score any different? more motivation? more of something? anything to get these guys playing well?

well i did not watch the whole game while i was at homecoming myself, i took time out to watch the whole first quarter on a 13 inch TV. now. in the first quarter we almost seemed to move the ball aimlessly down the field on them. Ganz had 10 seconds to throw. I stopped watching and at half i go out there and its like 31 7 WTF? what happend to the offense to those of you that have good observation skills. and dont turn this into fire the offensive coordinator crap thread. just curious.

Better off not letting the situation dictate which one you have in there..The opposing Defense doesn't need any more help figuring out what play is coming next..We just don't dominate like that anymore. The offense has a better tempo to it when Helu is on the field. I think Marlon is a great third down back and could be effective as a slot reciever, I say line him up in the backfield sometimes WITH Helu and motion him out to get him isolated on a LB or S. thank you lord! someone understands my thinking!

no huddle two minute spread the WHOLE GAME! i am not positive. but if i think about it we might have had more yards in our last two drives(excluding the fumble) than we did the whole game. i said this last year too. we are so much smoother in the 2 min drill. we did this last year two. if the run aint workin stick to what does!

put lucky as a slot reciever!!! holy cow the kid can catch and run after. but he doesnt have the line for his type of running style. he needs a oline that opens huge holes that are where they are suppose to be. our line isnt like that. the holes are more cutback lanes and helu has a knack for these. it fits his shifty running style. give the kid 25 carries and keep the offense on the field and miserys off!

first of all. we had the jerseys first. they look better. end of story. now for the controversy! (intimidating bum bum bum...buuuuum) i like the idea of black jerseys. i wlll argue. this by taking a look at georgias. those are some bomb uniforms. ill argue as one of the best. and i think the all white we pulled off at CU last year was also great with the long socks and WHITE SHOES. this was a very clean uniform...meaning crisp and made the players look real athletic and gazelle like while running. haha. i like em tho. black unis too.

some of the seats under the overhangs are terrible...especially in the east stadium...imo

what are they suppose to be like this year. mediocre at best i suspect? big game tonite on espn in louisville. will be a good test.

So as I am sitting here tonite I watched the game via no-huddle and am currently watching Big-Red Wrap Up. and as I watch these highlights I never really noticed how dominant our o-line was out there this week with Murtha back in the lineup. and then i start thinking. holy huge. we have andy christensen, argueably the best lineman we had last year waiting in the wings. can you imagine if he is back to game shape and ready to go for VT? i think we might have the works for some bigtime yardage. anyone thinking this? or am i just getting my boxers in a bunch..

well yea. but also if something happend then you put castille back on O and bring up the 2nd linebacker. which might be a starter now.

i think that a 2 back system like a split shotgun might work well with lucky motioning to the slot or wing or something in that nature. then we can pass run with helu reverse whatever. just an idea though. with ganz in the backfield that also makes for a dangerously quick backfield. and now boys and girls. i have been reading this thread and have seen comments on castille and how hes not what he used to be. well IMO we have three backs. is that necessary? i dont want to rally the troops on this but the thought of castille on defense anyone? got the idea with glenn. castille is a workhorse while quick. and i think might make a great outside backer. meanwhile he knows the offense well enough for what he does. and thus could be used as short yardage back or periodically whenever. kindof like tampa used to do with warren sapp. only smaller version. and more versatile. just a thought. let me know what you think..

I was at the first game. but the people i left at home to watch it on paperview said they had a good feed and picture minus a few cut outs here and there. but im not going to either of the next games so im thinking that i will buy them both. or we could all just wait for vt. haha.

would anyone happen to know the title of the song that says "can you feel it" that is played before many husker athletic events? or is this a huskervision mix? me and a couple of buds were looking for it to play at some of our high school games. football basketball etc. any feedback would be great!
