  1. A year working against Suh & Co would mature a QB pretty quick!
  2. OK, can someone name them, front to back. I know Lee, Green, ???, ??? I don't know who the other two are, other than the tattoo comment which makes me believe #4 is Martinez.
  3. I agree that the jury is still out on Lee due to injury. You are claiming, indirectly, that Lee will be much better as the QB without the injury. I do not know if that will be true, time will tell... I would imagine/hope that his passing will be improved, but much of what I saw from Lee last year that caused a great deal of frustration, was not directly related to him passing the football. We'll see...
  4. Lee has the most experience at running an offense very poorly. Would you go to the doctor who has proven to be inept, yet he has a lot of experience? Me, I'd choose the less experienced guy if he shows promise.
  5. I hope we have options of "good, better, best" rather than the dismal choice of "bad, worse, and embarassing" that we had last year. Hopefully these guys have elevated each other through competition and we'll have multiple guys who can give us a much better performance than we saw last year.
  6. Enhance; Don't try to make this about her skills as a reporter. That's just rude.
  7. Well played... Powder River, Let 'er Buck!
  8. Babysitting millionaire ego's is no "step up" IMO. I'd be surprised if he ever went to the NFL. He'd be in the face of enough players that he wouldn't even be able to field a full team after they all quit.
  9. Um, I tend to think that she, um, well, brings a lot to the entire viewing experience. Yep.
  10. This thread kind of makes Husker fans sound like a bunch of whiny babies. Bad calls happen for every team. Deal with it.
  11. The practice on the 23rd will be tougher than the game on the 25th, no worries...
  12. Pointless... ...is the name of this thread. FAIL.
  13. I suppose I should have known what you talk about on other forums... My bad.
  14. We may have simply capitalized on the steroid issue a bit more than the other teams due to a S&C program that was well ahead of its time. The juice doesn't do much without the iron... Everybody's a bit testy about the steroid issue, eh?
  15. My point (since it was missed) is that we built big linemen out of relatively athletic linemen through strength and conditioning and pharmacology. We have never been able to recruit the cream of the crop due to reasons mentioned above, yet we built great lines. This is in keeping with what the article describes, take athletic moderately sized linemen and run an offense that doesn't depend on lineman size as much as speed/skill of the players.
