We just passed on 4th and 3. The entire drive was succesful running playsas and we passed on 4th and 3. This is one of the things I have hated about Callahan from his first year.

I'm listening to the game on the web and I'm kind of enjoying it. I've often felt that the announcers don't do enough to hold the staff accountable. They are certainly not hiding their disgust at this point. This is the most honest broadcast I've ever heard Jim Rose give- expressing disappointment, calling for the young players to be on the field, talking aobut how far the program has fallen.

I'm at a total loss for words here. I've tried to avoid the whole "Fire the Coaches" panic button but it isn't even panic now. Its embarrassment. Maybe I've had my head in the sand bc/ honestly, I can make a list of disappointing firsrs with this staff. I'm 35 years old and in my lifetime I've never seen husker ball like this. I've watched this coaching staff: Go 5-6 (I thought Solich's 7-7 was unacceptable) Get 70 hung on us by T Tech Get blown out by Kansas Get blown out by Missouri Get blown out at home by Ok State Disgrace the blackshirts tradition Act like nothing is wrong at press conferences This crew had no respect for Husker tradition. Yep, fire the whole damn lot.

Absolutely. Its one of the funniest things I've seen. Reading his posts on the OU board is hilarious. They keep calling for the mods to get rid of him.

Did any of you see the inteview towards the end of the game? He said some great things "I refuse to apologize for high expectations!" "I don't think this defense believes in each other. I don't think they believe in the system either" "This is Callahan's 4th year and there are some questions that will have to be answered this week because this isn't getting it done" Much more.

I am sure I will be switching back and forth but the deciding factor for me was the Rocks are ahead in the series...this is not a make or break game for them. I will certainly be watching both games!! I was gonna start a Rockies post but didn't think ther would be so many Rocks fans on the board. I was at Monday's game w/ the Padres and I still don't have my voice back.

Wow! I posted in another thread about where we would end up in the polls this week and was wrong about almost everytihng I said. Moving up 3 during a week in which you didn't play is sweet. We need a few of those in our schedule!

It is a weird year. Does anyone else think there have been way more upsets this year than ever before? OU and WVA lose this week. Texas is struggling, so is Wisc. Cal is getting beat by Oregeon. Penn State lost. Clemson was losing (may still be). And thats just this week. UCLA, Mich, ATM out of the rankings. Every week is just baffling. Even though we don't look good, I think we should be happy to win the games we win.

Yeah, it looked like progress but not a great outing. Turning the ball over doesn't help but getting the turnovers back certainly does. Next week is gonna be rough. Seemed like the D took a step forward but the O a step back.

Its good to see Grix get some love on this board. He deserves it.
