Criticizing how Bo coaches or who he hires is similar in my opinion to criticizing a math professor on the material they choose to teach or the pacing of a Calculus class.

I would absolutely love to see the fat man up in the booth. Mark Mangino has ties to Carl and Bo and is a genius. He got almost as much out of the talent he had at KU that Leach got from TTech. His coaching style is right in line with Bo's too.

I think it is hard for him to argue that McCoy was better than Suh since he even said this past week in his first post for ESPN that he was politicking for Suh for Heisman. How can he argue that Suh should be the heisman winner if he isn't even sure he is the best player at his position? So far I like the volume of posts that he is making, especially for Spring ball. Hopefully he will have at least five or six posts a day during the season. My biggest faults with Tim Griffin were that he would seem to post a lot at once or right before he signed off for the day instead of posting throughout the day.

I am only sad to see the show go because it was the only local programming on ESPN radio that we had. I routinely enjoyed listening to Peter and Wilkerson, but won't fret about not hearing it anymore. I thought Peter brought a great locker room perspective to the show and that was his niche. I hope that Three Eagles or whoever becomes our ESPN radio carrier puts a local show on in lincoln soon. I like the syndicated shows that we get, but it is nice hearing local programming once during the day too.

The student section had assigned seating but that was ignored. As long as you have an east or south stadium ticket you should be able to find a place in the student section. But if you want to get a decent seat in the student section plan on being there an hour to 45 minutes before the game starts.

The few advantages to this will be him being in game conditioning nearly the entire year. Playing center field will require him to work on his explosion to get to fly balls and increasing his vert. Both which will help him play receiver in the fall. I am more worried about him getting burned out on competitive team sports more than not being able to succeed at the D1 level.

This was created by a bunch of guys from my fraternity, and the reason that Nebraska is the only team using the software currently is because they are a Beta client for the program. I believe the Seattle Seahawks are another beta client using the software. I haven't seen the program or know all that much about it, but it sounds pretty impressive.

Playing the speed card on defense is great, but a powerful o-line will dominate speed almost every time. I think it would be easier to find strong tacklers and run stoppers and make them faster than give up size to have a faster defense. Just look at the impact a better conditioning program has had on this team in one summer. Give Bo's system time to work and I don't think that we will need to think about moving players around all that much in the future.

We hopefully won't need to come out of our 2 deep zone tomorrow, and I hope we don't. I'll give up the crossing route and yards all day as long as we don't have to put our blitz packages on film for future opponents. Dominating SJSU is not as important to me as beating MU and KU, or at the very least being competitive..
