  1. When we beat TT, I'll run through the streets of Fort Rucker naked. Period. GBR!!
  2. I don't know if TO has any kind of handle on Bo, but I don't think he'd stand for Bo if there was anything unprofessional done/said. If Mike Leach wants to play like that and run up the score if it leans that way, I'd expect a small, short comment during post-game interviews and doubt anything else will be done. With national attention drooling all over our "dirty game-playing", Bo won't wanna add to that mess...and he shouldn't.
  3. He'll run across the field, throw a stick of Big Red into his mouth, jaw jack Mike Leach in the chin and while standing over Mike, Bo says, "You've been Bogasmed!". Right after turning his sweatshirt into the sleeveless Bill Belichick cut-off special.
  4. Holy crap...Lucky has a pass efficiency rating of 598? Let's put him in as QB!!
  5. I forgot about that dude Ha, me too...had to watch that one again! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I-4XS3XtZQ&NR=1
  6. My opinion only, but it just sounds like natural frustration with a player learning a new program. I have a feeling that this might be felt on both sides of the ball. Who knows, a couple games, or later in the season, or quite possibly next year these players get those "complicated" schemes and will then be heard saying "it was a good game plan".
  7. That's some strong kool-aid...where can I get some?
  8. Good point. So the heavy defensive recruiting made last year by Bo was just an attempt to right the defensive woes of a bad season then...not a forecast of the years ahead?
  9. I'm sure all here remember Callahan's first year. 5-6 and the first losing season since the olden days to kick us in the nuts. Funny what happens when you try to take a running-based program and try to completely change it to a passing one in the off season. Now, the W/L went to 8-4, then 9-5...and of course the bad last year. Now we take a semi-passing program and are trying to change it back to a running one. Of course there's many other things involved than just that, but would it be any different to see similar season results? (I sure as hell hope not) Now my concern is this. Callahan had his problems overall, but definately neglected the defense. Bo is here and I really am hoping he doesn't do the opposite by neglecting the offense in the years to come. Anyways...all have to expect that the first year is gonna be tough. Hang in there all and back up the boys no matter what! Anyways sorry, long post for this. Anyone else think Bo might be the polar opposite of our last coach? Neglecting the offense to build the D? Not talking about this year, but the year or two to come.
  10. What? No way. Didn't see this bad of a penalty avg at LSU...can't say this can overall be attributed to Bo's coaching style.
  11. One penalty doesn't make him a Bobby Knight. But yes, this is an awkward start to the year with all the penalties we've racked up so far.
  12. [Pelini told the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald, "Usually you'd know about something like that.] Cause usually others are around to witness it. I'm not calling Daniels a liar, or questioning his integrity, since I really can't say I know the guy, but wouldn't someone else have seen this?
  13. They play a vastly improved O State this weekend. Should be a good test. I can take a guy who whips my team then acts like he's been there before and just talks about his performance. But when a guy kills a team then stomps on them when they are down it's just a joke. Anyone can say what they want. They can say "Nebraska ran up the score for years." Well Nebraska also did not come out in post game interviews and talk about their opponents mockingly. They went about their business and moved on regardless of what they thought about the team. When you have a rivalry you have mutual respect (See OU vs. NU in the past). You don't have primadonna's who get a rise out of kicking the team while it is down (Last year and this year). He wants to talk about bush-league he should look in the mirror, but I don't expect this self loving nose miner to ever get over himself.
  14. Unfortunately he was pretty spot on...
  15. I don't think anyone's arguing that it was ok to spit on Daniel or that he shouldn't call it out, at least that wasn't my point. My point was how you deal with it. If your goal is to make sure that player is punished appropriately then you tell your coach about it. If your goal is to use it as an opportunity to take a shot at the Huskers as a "dirty team" then you air it out in the press. I think choosing the second option reflects poorly on Daniel. Well said...
  16. The team will be fine. Just relax, enjoy the game and remember that it won't be too long before Nebraska is handing Missouri their asses again. If you want to get mad and yell, go to the stadium and yell at Pelini in his office. Just let me know before you do it, I want to watch. I'd rather stop by the locker room and vent...but then I'd get crushed and have a bad day thereafter.
  17. Please keep complaining...everytime someone posts to this I get to scroll down and see Misty's bum!
  18. Weren't most of the starters recruited for a pass offense sceme by Callahan? If passing works best, I say sling it...oh well, maybe the coaches see something we don't.
