'Ugly'?! Get real, Clemson is the team that should be worried. They lay an egg at least 50% of the time and are not a 2nd half team. We have the QB edge, too many offensive weapons and our D line will be alright vs their run. We're better coached, better disciplined. We win 30-24, something like that. They've done studies, ya know? They say 60% of the time, Clemson lays an egg...everytime!

Yeah, seriously! Think of this D... Big Boys: Josh Williams, Ankrah, Kevin Young, Thaddeus Randle, Jared Crick, Terrance Moore, and others on our Dline Backers: Compton, Williams, Blake Lawrence, Sean Fisher, Austin Stafford.. Secondary: Washington, Bryd, Green, Gomes, Martinez, PJ Smith, Alfonzo Dennard...and maybe Whitmore will be able to make it? Like I said...we have got the potential to be stellar on D, with some great depth!

I was just looking over our recruits on D and was thinking to myself....HOLY SH1T!! We're gunna be stacked in a few years...up front we have 2 good ends in Ankrah and Kevin Young..in the middle we have Thaddeus Randle (1st team Texas all-state)...if we could get Latu that would be HUGE! In the linebacking corps we have Chris Williams who looks to be an absolute stud! and Shawn Bodtmann! Secondary is headlined by Dijon Washington (if he stays), Byrd, Green, Middleton, and Taylor Martinez.... We have got some real potential here to be scary good! I am stoked!

I try not to follow stars, but the best teams year in and year out seem to have the top classes(5 and 4 star guys). As much as you say you dont want to follow it, it seems like it does make a difference most of the time. Forgive me if I am wrong, but werent we in the top ten or somewhere thereabouts for a few years...look where that got us? Sure those 5 stars are great athletes, but I am not completely sold on these recruiting sources and how they evaluate talent...they dont measure heart, my friend. Having a top 5 team goes far beyond recruiting..primarily developing your players. Big Red will be back. Hell, look at what one year with Pelini got us. An 8-5 season with the potential of going 9-5 with less talent than we had a year ago. Pelini is our man...*'s are wayyyyyyyyyyy overrated. there is a ton of talent on this team, they just had horrible coaching before Pelini look at Notre Dame, they have talent but a god awful coach No, Im not saying we dont have talent. I am saying that we have less talent than a year ago. And, yes, the coaching before Pelini was horrid.

Apparently everyone is too busy making beaver jokes to notice the latest news: he committed to Tulsa morons! I wonder if all that losing made him think twice about Michigan. Hey! Dont call us morons! , but yeah...who cares? That sucks for Michigan...and Im sure all that losing played a big part....what else do you want?

Word. There is sooo much more excitement , passion, pride, and loyalty in college football. The rivalries are WAAAAYYYY better...the NFL is just too business like. College football>NFL..enough said.

I would like to see Gill end up at Iowa State for 2 reasons. 1. He's is a former sker and I would like for him to get a coaching gig in a major BCS conference, it is certainly NOT a step backwards for him, and if you feel that way then I'll loan you a copy of The Idiots Guide to College Football.. 2. I think Gill is a great coach and I think with his hire he would help in the resurgence of the Big 12 North! GBR!

okay, this is the MF'r's D strategy for black qbs...typically, i pick clemson (i know, very ironic since we're playing them in a bowl game), but they have a very fast D. I run primarily nickel package, with a zone blitz, such as buck slant. If the guy likes to run with the qb, then i shade him with my nickelback, and make sure he doesnt take off. However, if he keeps throwing deep on you and you cant stop it, then run dime and double outs where the corners and safeties are on the 2 outside receivers..if he favors a certain receiver, say the one lining up on the right side, then you can take your safety on the left and shade the qb, to make sure he doesnt run.. Just a few of my strategies for playing Ohio State, hope it helps.
