  1. Come on over regardless - you'll have a good time whether OSU wins or loses.
  2. Badgers Fall Short Despite 4th Quarter Comeback Attempt Iowa fans on suicide watch AP -- Madison, WI, October 2nd, 2011 Last night's fast and furious rally by the 7th ranked Wisconsin Badgers was not enough as the 8th ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers held off Wisconsin's Heisman candidate Russell Wilson in their first Big Ten contest in the newly expanded conference.
  3. What??? Scheme can and frequently does make a HUGE difference in how difficult it is to move or stop the ball. Execution is critical but the odds of successfully executing a play can differ wildly depending on the scheme. Sure does, what I was saying that all the schemes in the world don't mean squat if they aren't EXECUTED. Well duh! What's the next keen insight you're going to share? "You can't win unless you score the most points!"? Anyways..... GBR!! You're kind of making my point by mocking me in that it's an obvious no-brainer. Talking about schemes and gimmicks doesn't get me excited, since it still boils down to one simple thing no matter what. Execution. If that's too simple of a view point, perhaps you want to edumacate me more.
  4. So, you really think 10 games after the Callahan era, with a first time head coach, against the #4 team in the country, is what we're going to see tomorrow? Same question can be asked of those pointing to 2008 vs Missouri (5 games after Callahan, against also a #4 ranked team).

  6. Seriously? Seriously. I thought he looked pretty rattled against OU and aTm, injuries aside. I think the injury rattled him more than OU and aTm. He looked rattled at home against Kansas for god's sake. Exactly. I think the injury frustrated him because he wasn't firing on all cylinders like he wanted to.
  7. It all just boils down to execution, regardless of the actual game plan and gimmicks. Plain and simple. If the Huskers execute the way they are capable of and don't beat themselves, then it's a sure victory. There hasn't been a team in the past two years that's actually beaten the Huskers... except Nebraska (and maybe Texas Tech). Should Wisconsin win because they are, in fact, the better team (right now), so be it, but I won't believe they are until I see it for myself. If Wisconsin wins because Nebraska beat Nebraska, then I will pound my head against the wall yet again. I have a good supply of Advil just in case.
  8. Well, he's already a douche bag, so pretending to be him won't be too big of a stretch.
  9. Anything, and I do mean ANYthing is better than hearing, "John David Booty" every 10 seconds. That right there will bug me till I die.
  10. Well, I could have just OD'd on the kool-aid, but until the clock reads all zeroes at the end of the game, I refuse to believe the Huskers will lose this.
  11. I know of one Iowa fan who is an absolute miserable pr*** who will probably commit suicide if the Huskers happen to win this week.
  12. It didn't say Beat Texas, which you can't say (or shouldn't say)... it DID say, Beat Texa$, which can be said.
  13. Other than Iowa, I think most opposing fans are going to be pleasant until the honeymoon period is over.
  14. Maybe the badger is a little chunky? It's a husky badger.
  15. How are they going to be the bottom feeder?
  16. No such thing as RUTS. Don't like it? Stop 'em. That being said, there are still things like sportsmanship that come into question.
  17. Ha ha! Obviously this guy is a rocket surgeon. Or maybe a brain scientist. I prefer donuts if I'm having a sugary breakfast.
  18. none. It's just that he has a history of piling it on whenever possible.
  19. I won't predict a loss here, but just supposing it happens. Does Bielema remember 2003, as a KSUx staff member when Bo complained about RUTS, or does he have respect for Nebraska considering his boss has Nebraska ties and lobbied for them to get into the B1G?
  20. Look, I don't know if this is a loss or not. They've taken care of business against crap so far and been impressive for doing it. They had a tremendous season last year with only 1 loss up till the bowl game. No doubt they're confident about their chances. But, before last year, they've really had an above average record. That literally means nothing this year, however, it's not like they've been perennial contenders. I'm hoping Wisconsin is over-confident and some wind gets taken out of their sails early. Since BB has been their coach: 2010 - 11-1 2009 - 9-3 2008 - 7-5 2007 - 9-3 2006 - 11-1
