Teach. The new staff told him the scholarship was still good to go and met with him about his future. Coaching changes happen but they should have been upfront with the kid when the staff changed.

I think this just highlights in general how the enterprie of CFB -- coaches, fans, etc -- are *not* necessarily looking out for the kid. Often the interests overlap. Sometimes they come into serious conflict.
