  1. " One day a man saw a snake being burned to death in a fire so he tried to take the snake out of the fire , when he did, the snake bit him. The.snakes bite caused terrible pain. The man dropped the snake back in the fire and the snake was burning again. The man attempted to pull the snake out again.and the snake bit him again. Someone who was watching asked the man and said:
Do you understand every time you try to get the snake out of the fire, it's going to bite you???
The man replied the snakes nature is to bite, and my nature is to always help, others.
So the man took a garden hoe and got the snake out of the fire and saved him.
Don't change your nature just because someone does harm to you!!! Don't change your character only be wiser.
Some people will hurt you, trick you and use you. Wise up and learn to stop enabling and learn how and when to give help.......Always just with wisdom!"

I recently learned that a co-worker's husband had been arrested and spent time in prison, for a pretty foul crime, some years back - when it happened, she sat her three kids down, the youngest being like 5, and basically said, "do not let this change who you are or who you will become", and a bunch of other wise things that thoroughly impressed me.  Instead of dwelling on how crappy life was at the time, and how crappy it was likely to become,, like most would, she knew she had to act in her children's best interest for the moment, and the future.  The youngest is now 14, and all three kids are thriving because of how she dealt with a sh!tty sitation.
