if the RB was not accounted for, it was a blown coverage. Yeah that was my point. They didn't account for the RB. David reacted to the TE releasing inside. Nobody picked up the RB in the flat. The double on the WR hurt us.

Sorry I misspoke. We were in double coverage on the WR and LD took the TE. That left the RB all alone.

i wouldn't say that, after his rant for the pass interference call, the DB's had a blown coverage and that made for a lob throw for a SC touchdown...no one within 10 yards of their receiver. More of a mismatch. They lined up three on that side. There was a double team and LD took the TE. That left the RB wide open.

Didn't have the talent? We were in this game game until 4th quarter. Down by 3 points. And one hail mary from being in the lead. Talent is not an excuse here.

This 9 win resume really isn't that impressive. People keep hanging their hats on it as if it is a badge of honor. If 9-4, in year 4, with a returning QB starter is satisfying, fine, I'm not going to sway your opinion. Nobody is "hanging their hats on it as if it is a badge of honor." You see people support their team through bad times and presume it's acceptance of poor results. It's called not being a fair-weather fan. Losing sucks and nobody here likes it. Everyone here wants to be playing for conference championships, you're not alone in that regard. But when people just gripe for the sake of griping, it doesn't mean you have higher standards. I expect more. But I'm also willing to give Bo a little time. We just changed conference's. We have a first year OC. It take's a little time. Very few first time HC's win MNC's in their first 4 years.

I agree we could use a couple of elite linemen on both side's of the ball. But honestly, we were in this game until the fourth quarter at least. Credit SC, They made a few adjustments that we didn't counter. And we played undisciplined. Still don't think we lack that much talent wise.

To many mental mistakes. Anybody who looks at this game objectively could point out where thing's went wrong for us. Don't think it had anything to do with the quality of players.

Agree. I think we have some pretty good talent from last year's recruiting class, and some really good talent coming in.

False starts, Untimely penalty's, dropped ball's and turn over's killed us. For some reason we have a hard time over coming mistakes. Don't know if that is coaching or player's just losing focus.

4 linebackers in this class would be nice. But isn't Afalava still a long shot to qualify.

I could post every day if I had a "guess". My "guess" would be that we would have other offers out there to receivers if Bo and company felt Jordan was going elsewhere. There are always "others" in the wings ... but from what I've seen we aren't chasing other WR's at this time ... from what I've read atleast. I think I'll sit tight and let the process occur before I get my flesh all worked up. At present, he is committed to the Huskers and from what I understand we are in contact with him and their is an open relationship between all involved. Sounds good to me. That's pretty much what it is at this point is a guess. Just the same as your take. A guess.
