They moved it from the dome because its a piece of ****. Couple of other reasons is its not all that big. I think it seats around 65K. I know the Alamo can hold around 70K and Arrowhead almost 80K. And STL is mostly a Big 10 city. Really the only Big 12 tie is MU. Unlike cities like Dallas or KC where there are alot of Big 12 fans and Big 12 alums. And yes I think that would suck to have it stay down south perm. with no rotation. Osborne and all of the other North ADs better put up one hell of a fight. And the line about having to move basket ball up to KC to "appease the north!" Who cares about getting the basketball tournament in KC?????

my cousin has it, and in my opinion it is cheating! The recruiting advisor will tell you who to recruit to get them to commit some weeks, and highlights players for you.

It is really nice to hear ESPN speak positively about Nebraska, but why limit the top players poll to just offense? BLACKSHIRTS BABY!!!

I would not even come close to saying that Baylor is a guaranteed win....They are a team that is seriously improving and I think that the game will be a good one. In addition you will get to watch a QB in Griffin that is a phenom! That said I do think the Baylor game would be the one that I would visit if I had the $. I just wish that they were not located in Waco. Do you think we could get Osborne to convince them to move the game to that fancy-pants new stadium built outside of Dallas?

I love the fact that Nebraska continues to fly under the radar both within the Big XII and nationally. While my kool-aid isn't strong enough to predict a BCS game, I do think we will win the north and produce an upset of either OU or V-Tech! Go big red!

Here are my thoughts... 1) Despite being a former Husker, this move solidifies my opinion that Keller is a whiner and cry-baby. 2) He is right that the game does attempt to use accurate representations of players. 3) He is wrong in that the game does not use likenesses. If a picture of Keller appeared next to his stats (like Madden) he would have a case, as is it is a generic form model that resembles many other people. I know it is dividing black and white with a thick gray marker, but I feel this is where the case will go. 4) The University, and athletic department, does make money off this and those funds are used to do things like pay for meals and hotels on away games and furnish each athlete with a complete university wardrobe. At UNL this is a given, but at some smaller schools they can't afford all of the small perks. 5) If this suit makes the NCAA pull all of its collegiate games, I will in fact hate Keller forever....

Which platform do you use? PS2? PS3? X-Box, X-Box360? I am on the 360, but I really miss the old method of recruiting. Don't get me wrong...I know that this one is much more realistic. But I miss being able to get through a full season in 1/2 an hour. You can spend that much time on one week with the next gens!

So with the spring game over I am missing my college football fix. I dusted off NCAA 09 and realized I never really got all that good at recruiting. What are some of the strategies that you use to put together good teams?

I am sorry to hear that he is leaving but I have to wish all of the luck in the world to the kid (just so long as you don't end up playing NU in the future) But this does raise the question.... To which North Carolina school will this NU QB transfer go to???

GREAT post, I agree that fans of other teams SHOULD hate us. Even in down years, NU is the flagship of the Big XII North & it is no surprise that all of the other North teams hate us. And in turn we will hate who ever the top 1 or 2 teams are that year. 97-2001 = K-State, 2001-2003 = CU, 2004-2008 = Missery. I have a TON of respect for every team in the North and I can't wait to play against all 5 of our division rivals (6 with OU) next year. Thank you and good night!

Could not agree more, I feel that CU, Missery, and NU will be the top three without a question next year. I am just not sure that KU can beat either OU or Texas.

Yes recruiting is important and NU fans should want every class to be in the top 10, but at least for a couple years I am done with worrying about the overall ranking. To me, it seems like a player is rated as a 5* only AFTER he is offered by one of the schools you list above, and if this process wasn't just a way to sell subscriptions to an internet site it would be the other way around. Now before people get into a hissy fit, I know that NU had top 10 classes under Osborne. All I ask is that you remember that we were one of those "Major" schools back them and definitely reaped the benefits. That said, I am very excited about the class Pelini is bringing in, NU can & WILL win a Big 12 title even without a top 10 recruiting class, and I am certain that highly ranked classes are in NU's future.
