  1. I guess we'll have big class next year. Our 2016 class is OFFICIALLY in trouble.
  2. Damn. Our best shot is a terrible academic risk. Not feeling great about this DL class. Really glad we wound up with some players from last class.
  3. From what I remember, science was my lowest score as well. Seemed like they had a lot of really difficult to decipher stuff in there. I ended majoring in Neuroscience, too.
  4. Well, I guess more accurately I should've said the rather infamous female population down there.
  5. Scent? Duration? Etc? Sources still conforming. I've been told there was a hint of cinnamon. This type of breaking info is very touch and go guys... bear with me. I'm trying.
  6. 247 says he's visiting Iowa Jan 22 and NU Jan 29th. Got to love having the last visit! Under the radar guy but man would I love another OT!
  7. I feel really good about this one knowing RIley and Stewart will both be in home right before the decision. Riley hasn't been the closer in-home that Bo was thusfar though. Hope the ASU party atmosphere doesn't lure him in.
  8. I was fine when Fant decide to go to Iowa. But if we lose Farniok to them, it will sting. Hope Raridon put in some work. Wish they were on the same team.
  9. Wow. Between John and Boe we've got an awesome, nasty duo to start the OL recruiting this year. We still need to rake in Farniok and another quality OT prospect would be very nice. Can never have enough offensive lineman. Really hoping these guys and big time recruits already in the program like Farmer and Foster can manage to break our All-American OL drought. We do appear to be very guard heavy, though. Gates was a revelation this year at OT. But we've got a huge hole to fill across from him. Hopefully Mr. Giant Cookie can step up!
  10. I think POB farted earlier today. Just what I heard... FWIW.
  11. Would love for Riley to open up that California pipeline that Cally used to pump back in the day. Never did like that fact that Pelini basically gave up on the state, but he really didn't have any ties there, so I got it.
  12. I had heard that not many on the team cared for Stevenson. What's done is done and it's probably for the best.
  13. Nice! Gotta hope this tips the scales in our favor! Definitely going to need safeties who can cover in this defense. That's part of the reason Gerry had such issues adjusting at the start of the year-- he's just not a very skilled cover guy. More of a downhill safety.
  14. You are the company you keep, I guess. Extremist jihadists believe what they're doing is fine and dandy because A) it's in their religion (or at least that's the guise they use), and B) they're surrounded by lots of like minded folks. These guys get off thinking this is the right, fair approach because they are all like-minded extreme-right wing, screw the government types. The brothers leading the effort saw their dad do the same thing, and naturally now they want their fifteen minutes of fame. Whether they truly hope whatever they accomplish will spur further protests against the government and lead to anything substantive, who knows. But their motives appear disingenuous to me, but they're not threatening anyone, not rioting, and they occupied unoccupied buildings. I understand they're technically on government land, but I'd let them spin their wheels for a while and see how long they keep their act up. If they go about trying to use force to intimidate others or cause people to acquiesce to their demands, then we'd have to reassess our response to the situation. I have no problem with not deploying the Guard to deal with this issue. With a group that's currently at peace, that claims they'll remain at peace, it's not worth risking people's lives at this point. Especially if there are guys they're saying "We'll defend ourselves if provoked" or "I didn't come here to shoot, I came here to die." Sounds like there's some cases of suicide by cop waiting to happen out there and potentially a much worse situation with many lives taken no one wants to have on their hands. Count, your cousin-in-law sounds like a good dude. As we all know, it's always the bad stuff that makes news. And the bad people, with bad intentions. We all know there's a fair share of maverick, power-hungry cops running around out there ready to use excessive force at a moment's notice. That's what I see in a lot of these situations that do make news. And I just think it's a damn shame a few bad eggs get the headlines and besmirch the name of the majority of our noble men and women in uniform.
  15. We should just get him on campus and let S&C sort it out. That is what they're paid to do, after all.
  16. If you guys thought you disliked Bo, you'd hate Chip. Just got done watching him destroy my beloved Eagles franchise. He's an arrogant POS that no one in the locker room liked. Someone hypothesized on my Eagles board that he may have some type of low-grade Asperger's or something along those lines that makes it hard for him to socialize normally. Everything with him was a power struggle too. He's a good coach, but he has major flaws and I wouldn't want him A-N-Y-WHERE near the Huskers. EDIT: http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2016/1/3/10704508/chip-kelly-jordan-matthews-bench-cris-carter-espn-nfl-eagles-watch-video What. A. Douche.
  17. I believe we could still get an in home after the Iowa trip to swing him. I have nothing to back this up.
  18. It's all good man. Chip's quote when he was introduced in Philly still gets me though. Chip, why do you prefer bigger, stronger guys over smaller, quicker ones? "Big people beat little people up." Unfortunate that he pretty much burned my NFL team to the ground. Will be interesting to see where he winds up. As for Mr. Sails, we need all hands on deck in the secondary at the moment.
  19. I'd say were immediately his top offer. Perhaps second to Wiscy, but their DC just defected to LSU.
