  1. Of F***ING COURSE. They definitely stop the game to check the call that's not going to work out for us, but not that catch. I hate to make it sound like I'm making excuses, but the officiating... terrible again today. Once flag against TU? What is that? And are they sure that wasn't pass interference on that 3rd down throw out of bounds by GG?
  2. I love how they rub Kyler's non-catch in our face. Thanks announcers.
  3. That interference call was the biggest horsesh*t call I've seen all afternoon. And there have been a lot of horsh*t calls. Also, getting sick of hearing the announcers hype Gilbert. And why on Earth their receiver drops that in the endzone is beyond me. Just makes this more miserable. I'm poppin Tums at this point...
  4. Good Jammal Lord!! Of course the defense is gonna key on Taylor... he's trying to force the issue again, ala the SDSU game, and make things happen on his own. If he keeps this up It's gonna get ugly... Nice block on the screen, but still didn't get the first down. Need the D to take one to the house!
  5. Bobby Swigert catching the eye of the BC/FSU announcers. Between him and DJ Woods we just missed out on a couple good ones. Oh well, go hook those horns! GBR!

  6. at A&M, USC, and TTech Lol well done Speed. Good use of Nelson.
  7. Well, maybe he'd have an offer, if he was a BRUISING FULLBACK WHO LEAVES THE FIELD IN RUBBLE!
  8. If Mizzou is still ranked at the bottom of the top 25 in three weeks, that seems more likely to me. If they can take the loss against OU (cmon, like a 98% lock) and still be ranked, that game looks pretty good. I think even though us vs. Okie Lite is a good game, gameday would have a really tough time passing up Auburn and LSU, with Cam Newton looking good again this week and LSU pulling off that ridculously ballsy win at Florida. That fake FG was awesome, but brought back harmful repressed memories of when we tried to run that same play against Colorado Bo's first year and they ran it back. Besides, everyone knows loves dem sum SEC. But anyway Gameday is the farthest thing from my mind right now. It is TU game week!! Everyone should be focused on that and that alone! Do you not remember who this is?
  9. ESPN just said we're fifth.

  10. Weird, Herbstreit has had mad love for NU ever since Pelini took over. Anyway, Martinez's stats will get jacked up next year. I was ahead of the curve though... I started him in all my online games this year, based just on his 96 acceleration. Looks like they got that one right.
  11. As sad as it is to say, I guess voters still haven't gotten their share of the "darlings" of America, BSU and TCU. It's really quite annoying... I would've thought those two playing each other in a bowl game last year would've done it, but no. And btw, I HATE hearing that word darling thrown around when talking about those teams. I know noone who thinks of them that way. Anyway, if we handle business and win out, I think we'll leapfrog at least one of those two, with their weak schedules hurting them. And as with most people, I think tOSU will drop a game somewhere. Eventually they'll meet a defense that doesn't greet their offense with a giant gaping hole, shell of a defense. And Oregon could also conceivably lose somewhere. That Pac-10 is pretty weak, but I'd say USC, Washington, Cal, and Oregon State could all possibly give the Ducks a run for their pond. Their defense is NOT good, and they haven't played good teams. The one good offense they've played, Stanford, shredded them. If only Stanford had a real d. It sure would be spectacular to see Oregon run the table UNTIL their last game and then finally get bumped off by their lil bro Oregon State. It'd be a long time coming... the Beavers always give Oregon a good run for a while but can't seem to pull one out. Anyway, point I'm trying to make... If tOSU and the Ducks lose and we beat a good OU team in the B12 Championship, we roll into the MNC over one of the other two. A BSU-TCU championship would definitely p*ss some people off.
  12. @CH4ever-- I think we leapfrog OU since we smoked the Wildcats and they had an off week.

  13. Alabama/SC is a done deal. It ain't happening (a comeback). I REALLY COULD CARE LESS when the last time McElroy lost a game was. Flip to Aggie game and pray they pull it out for the sake of our SOS...

  14. I don't like this commitment at this point. Maybe later in the process but lets try to get some bigger guys in first. Ouch. Someone needs to eat some humble pie now.
  15. My thoughts EXACTLY bro. Seriously. I know Niles is a "hold your breath" type of guy, but it's gotten so bad now that I'm only holding my breath in anticipation of him turning the damn ball over.
  16. Solid first post dude. Way to embarrass yourself. Bravo.
  17. Congrats OKC... Time to invest in a good rocking chair to boost that Grandfatherly image.

  18. Yes, his name is Ryan Santos. I'd like to think the kid has an inside track for an NU offer but then again, it's not a guarantee when you consider that NU hasn't offered three legacy prospects from the 2011 class; Jacob Welter, Dylan Wynn and Cole Fisher. I'm sure the staff has their reasons and that's their job, but it's just an example that nothing is a given with the way this staff recruits. And don't forget Kyler Reed's little brother. Yes I know he has a scholarship, but by no means are we beating down his door to lock in that commitment. Not to topic-jack, but if I remember right at one point Dagan was a hell of a prospect. Things have been waaaaayyyy too quiet on his recruiting front, especially considering the fact he's a current players brother. Makes me wonder if the coaches have backed off.
  19. oooppss that sucks............. i hope we still show him love Injuries haven't stopped us before, although I shudder when I think about the potential Chris Williams had and how much his derailed his football career. Although, IIRC, Williams was already a commit when he got hurt. Oh well... let's hope this injury isn't as devastating to our boy Wayne.
  20. Methinks Cacti is happy somewhere after that huge run to tie it by Clemson RB... Dude looked Spiller-esque fast.

  21. Wow, I wonder how T Rob feels starting on the line for the Irish now. When he committed, riding the fumes of the "Brady Quinn good years" at ND, he probably looked at us and looked at the Domers and thought, "I wonder where I have a better chance to win a national championship?" Oh, how the tables have turned. AND HOW SWEET IT IS!!
  22. Apparently David came out of hiding at IWCC and he's leading the team with 5 picks. Pretty dang good for someone we haven't heard of in two years. I wonder, with us losing possibly our entire starting secondary after this year, if we actually do re-recruit him. I know the question's been asked before, but now it might actually be feasible since we know he's playing somewhere, especially right next door.
  23. I wonder what AC thought of our dominance this weekend...
  24. @HUSKER FREAK... I was just thinking earlier actually, who says our yearly WTF game (ex.= ISU) has to be a loss? This could actually bode well for us...
