When you let Imani run downhill, he looks like a different guy. When you force him sideline to sideline, he looks terrible. The coaching staff gave him the lead, and utilized him in the way Imani would be most successful. Credit to Imani for carrying the running game, literally. And credit to Langsdorf for finally realizing what Imani is best at, and letting him do that all game long.

Kids didn't play hard in recent weeks. They did tonight. I'm not sure what people are supposed to own up to about that?

Kinda what I was thinking. This team has been owed a win like this after the horrid luck it has had this year. And given the incredible luck Sparty has had going its way, it was time for it to be on the other end of one.

This is what happens when these guys fight. Players beat up, hurt, and still dying to come back in the game to make a play to help their team. A defensive line that couldn't get pressure all damn night, but still continued to fight. An offensive line that was overmatched by a fantastic defensive line from Sparty, but they punched them in the damm mouth all game long. I could not be more proud of this group of guys for how they fought all game long. GBR
