I don't think that "hiding" anything from other coaches matters at all. I do think that players would probably have closed practices when it comes to media...but they probably don't care if former players are there.

I agree...there will not be much that is seen but it will be enough to get the fans excited, I think.

It makes for good radio, tweets and message board posts...Sam knows what he is doing with that stuff. Just like his little hints of the hotel basement fight that everyone saw but that not one single person has a picture of (guess everyone forgot their phones) For most people, soap operas are more entertaining than a documentary. That is why these guys tweet/talk/write in code. It is a lot more fun to say "Sabotage" when asking a question instead of "do you think some of the people that work for you think you are an ass and that you are clueless?"

In college after moving off campus we thought we would be fine in 5 bedroom house with no AC...good lord did that suck.

The writers have it way harder than talk show hosts. Writers words are stuck there forever. Talkshow shots can pretty much say negative things and not get AS crucified.

No kidding! Anything "off the record" is just going to mean that the person they are talking to is ripping on a boss or a player...guess what...that is off the record.

I just watched the Last Jedi I liked it. I have NO idea what is going on and I have no clue who anyone is or who is related to who(m) but it was a fun movie.

Yep and I have seen them as low as 21 dollars. Soooo many people made "plans" go to go the game 6 weeks ago without actually knowing if they were going to go, there will be lots of people that bought 10 tickets thinking all their friends were "in" that are about to realize that only 5 of them will be making it...get ready for more tickets to be out there for about 15 dollars.

The new guy with the OWH...he doesn't seem salty about it at all.

You know, I totally agree with this. Clearly SE was a dork and sounds like a super pain in the ass type of boss, it makes sense that when people that worked for/with him had a chance to s#!t on him that they did.

Great show and Timmy O is probably a better comedic actor than dramatic actor and that is saying a lot. I wonder if he has turned down a lot of movie roles because the TV/Netflix life is way better (no clue, just a thought)...if you have ever watched The Grinder, when he is a guest star on that show, he is AMAZINGLY funny.

I think some of the writers are a little turned off at the early morning practice times... I also think some of the writers like doing a bit of "oh yeah I totally knew about that but just didn't bring it up" ism... Like the famed "hotel basement" story with Bo...Has there every been a story where more people "saw it" happen and "knew" about it but yet...never talked about it until later.

I don't think I have ever listened to him. I know Dr. Rob Z has a podcast, I have heard it once or twice but it is sort of boring. I like the HOL podcast, Callahan has done a nice job for himself.

Maybe! I don't really know. I hardly even know who wrote the article that I read. Teacher trick...don't look at the name of the persons paper, that way you can grade it fairly. Teacher trick #2...give more scantron tests so you don't have to waste your time reading papers.

I think the point of the thread that was started (by a super awesome handsome guy) was not so much about who you hate but which media member would be saltiest about the lack of open practices. It does seem like most people think it will be Sam. I would rather have MORE access and more open practices because I think it is more interesting for us, the fans.

Do you think finding sources is easier or harder now? Back in the day you hit up some bars, throw back a few and get some info. I feel like that is much harder to do now BUT with social media and texting it might be easier to get sources?

I have not seen that yet but on Severes show he has sort of taken a salty tone... I get it, I really do, but it is sort of funny to see how it will bother some of them. For the last 3 years they basically had a lot of info right in front of them.

My question is, which reporter will start to get salty first? I think it will be Sam. If you listen to him on The Bottom Line he has already taken a few quick shots about how not having media coverage at practice is a bad thing, on Twitter too, I think he will be the one that is the most salty and/or sour. I imagine Sip will stay exactly how he always is...not sure about the others.

It is funny you said this because I have always wondered how often they check out these sites. I think it is human nature to "wonder" so they probably check and some might even make fake accounts and leak information or make up s#!t. But clearly they, like anyone else, have lots of free time and so I am sure they check. I am sure like most people they don't let it get in their head but still, I wonder how often they check out the threads.

Look where XJ is ranked...go look at this years freshmen ranked around the same # at the same position and you will get a rough idea what to expect.

I don't think NU is super interested.
