    As someone who has drawn up plays (while they are giving tests or showing a movie in class) there is nothing more fun than drawing them up and going out and practicing them. But come game time it is a lot easier to use stuff that works at a higher %.

      Oh yeah, it's always cheaper to get a quarter or half than to buy it a chunk at a time from the grocer. Our biggest hold up is we don't always have the freezer space for a quarter. I actually get half a hog more often than a quarter beef.

      Usually go for as many chops as can get, then shoulder blade steaks (unless I'm planning on making pulled pork-then I'll keep the butts) lots of ground sausage, fresh side or bacon. Pretty much just depends what sounds best when I'm filling out the cut order. Hams are readily available at the grocery store so I'll often take that sliced and uncured.

    I would be shocked if he hasn't! UNO was a nice small lil school that didn't really have to do anything and sat in the shadow of "big brother"...Alberts has tried to change that in some respects and that means changes and work, I am sure a lot of people got pissed. I know I would have been pissed if I had worked there for 20 years and was enjoying the normal day to day routine and then BAM...it all changes.

    There is some footballsplaining going on here! NU was supposed to win this game. They did. It wasn't pretty but it is better than a loss.

    Come to think of it...We learned just how far Riley has lowered our expectations as fans. A 10 point home win against a team that has not won a conference game since ED could drink more than one drink without passing out... He really has Rileyed us. We have fans saying things like "I think 7 wins and he keeps his job"

    This is pretty much what I think too. Diaco's defense reminds me a bit of Bo's while we were in the Big 12. Like...you knew they were playing well but you didn't really know how well until the game was over and you saw the stats. Also, I said Riley would retire at the end of the season too (you sir are as smart as me...sorry!)
