This isn't a gender thing...this is just "a thing" If you think it is just a gender thing you either don't hang out with girls, don't hang out with guys or don't hang out with anyone. This is what everyone does, it is called having a sense of humor. This isn't some power thing... I suppose if you do "it" to a complete stranger then it might be something.

What if one jewish guy does it to another jewish guy? That show, Kids say the darndest things...where sometimes the kids would explain something and of course be super dramatic...was that kidsplaining?

I feel like this doesn't need a name because it already has one. It is called being sarcastic. Everyone does it when they are explaining something that think someone should already know. Like explaining blackjack to a guy friend... "You have 19...so you want to stay." "why?" "Oh My Gosh...because you are close to 21, Einstein (not a jewish slam, relax)" "Yeah, but if the next card is a two I can't lose" "Fine...hit...you are soooo much smarter than all of us, Magellan" Then of course the idiot hits...they have to call a pit boss over to allow the hit...the moron gets a 2...everyone shakes their head while he grins and you have a great vegas story.

There are professors from other countries (probably some here too) that list the colonists vs natives as the longest running war in history. I thought that was interesting.

Yeah, it might depend where you grow up. I am not sure. My best friend since about 4th grade is jewish (yet came to a catholic school with me for 8 years) and he used it all the time as a joke...and in reference to his father, over and over and over. That is a super good comparison. Girls do that all the time! They use sluts too.
