This is not hard to understand. We (most people) want to believe what we are told, we think the best of people. When your friend gets cheated on but takes the girl/guy back you think "What the hell" but he/she thinks "They love me, they said they are sorry, they deserve another chance" This is pretty much normal behavior. We want to believe what we want to believe. Have you proctored an ACT/SAT before? The proctoring is why you can't have entirely open dates. And why a student can't just take it at home. Why not? They have testing centers all over the country. Not to mention JC's, why would they not offer it online and available at all times. They have proctors there all the time. I didn't mean taking it at home, sorry about the confusion on that part! The rooms are only so big and you need to schedule proctors for each room in advance. So you could have an open date on a first-come-first-served basis until the seats filled up. Yeah, I agree

Not to mention JC's, why would they not offer it online and available at all times. They have proctors there all the time. I didn't mean taking it at home, sorry about the confusion on that part!

Adam Jardy, OSU beat writer has now said that Mac was never offered the job at OSU. It is on Twitter but I can't link it. I wanted proof because I don't think he was offered. I don't really care if it was false or not I just can't imagine why they would offer Mac.

You might be right...I don't think there was ever an "offer" but that is just a guess. With that said, I have a hard time thinking they even had interest in him. I had 2 different sources tell me this and they are from different circles. There was an offer. Can I ask...who are the sources? I just don't think they ever put a contract in front of him. You can ask. But that's as far as it will go. Believe me or don't. I passed along some information. I don't care enough about Creighton basketball to make a thing of this. Same here.

Just a guess...with OSU comes real expectations and real fans being annoying. OSU just fired their all time winningest coach after 1 bad season and 1 below average season. If Mac was offered (I don't think he was) I am sure that weighed on his mind. I think it was slightly more complicated than that. Sure...recruiting went way south for some reason too.

Dude, we covered this. Don't make it sound like they were step down jobs. ALL of them were promotions. ALL I don't know where they all took jobs at but my mind thinks like this... High Major Asst Coach: Promotions would be these jobs: Mid Major HC gig and/or High Major Asst Coaching job in your home state or more money or Alma mater.

Have you proctored an ACT/SAT before? I don't ever remember doing it...I have had teaching friends that have and I think they got paid like 40 dollars or something like that...they liked that part of it! Have you had the chance to do it?
