    Have any of you quit/got fired and really gave it to your boss on the way out? I have not but man...there are times when I would love to do just that! The closest I think I got was just not showing up again at a part time job I had in college.

    Well...past history of the coaching staff I would imagine. Riley has a track record for the last 5 years of sort of being a coach that has close games and ends up around .500 So they are probably taking that into account. I think the Huskers win and cover. I see something like 45-13

    My dad and I were always 27's. Usually about 60 minutes before kickoff. For some reason that feeling of walking in, looking around, and watching the players warm up never got old. Last year I showed up to the gate as early as 6 hours before, because I was always standing behind the E in the "boneyard" sign in every game, except iowa (because that game was cold af and I sat with my dad in North). I may do that a couple games this year, but for the most part I'm just gonna show up a couple hours early to get a good spot in the East stadium student section. 6 Hours? Dang! Is it just empty?

    Okay, I am 7.14,20,24,29 and 34 But in my defense...(Here we go)... I sometimes like hitting up the old frat house to see how nice it is now...I love hitting the O street bars (cheap drinks). And I can't help that those recently graduate college girls like me...wink

    Not a Bobot (I do love that name though) but "win the ones they should" well, that should be 10 of them since they will probably be favored in all but two games this year.

    No. Pelini plateaued, and that was only part of why he was fired. Riley needs to continue to improve. 8 wins would be an improvement. Year 3 if Riley wins less than 9, then he should be on the hot seat or fired. If Riley was really smart he would have went 0-12 last year...this season he could have hit that magic number of 1-11...But wait...in year three he could DOUBLE his win total, something most coaches never do...2-10 Soon enough Bama fans will be saying "How come Riley can double his win total but Saban is struggling to finish 11-1 after an 11-1 season"

    Super lame question that I never care about but is BTN and HD station or does it matter who the provider is?

      As long as you're paying for HD channels, BTN should be in HD.

      Okay, so it can be reg-def. That is all I needed to know. I don't notice a difference when I am watching but a friend was thinking of having people over for it but only if BTN was HD.

      There's definitely a visible difference between SD and HD...unless the TV won't handle 720 or 1080, then I have no idea how it works. But yeah, BTN is broadcast both ways and would depend on your provider and TV capability.

    I have not BUT I think it gets a decent crowd from what I have heard but sort of sounds like a much older crowd even for games.

    Totally agree! All the writers have the same agenda...keeping their job. It always cracks me up how crazy some fans get. There is one poster on HOL...TrueHuskerFan, you have to read his responses to basically every article written about the Huskers.
