  1. That and after we did it, there were lots of reports that it really didn't get us the information we needed. There are other methods. And, let's not gloss over the fact that Trump wants to bring tactics WORSE than waterboarding. This is nothing more than the epitome of revenge tactics. They are beheading people so we should torture them. I would prefer concentrating on things that will actually help us defeat this problem instead of making it worse. Thanks I am all for using it and "worse" I just like hearing other peoples issues with it.
  2. For those against waterboarding, why are you against it? It is just because it is a law? If so, if the law was changed would you be okay with it?
  3. What other things could he have said...
  4. Does Trump win in NH by over 9%?

  6. Gosh, why can't Manning be more like a guy like Len Dawson, who was actually smoking a cigarette at halftime of Super Bowl I.LOL, the good ol days. Didn't Lombardi used to smoke on the sidelines? Didn't one coach smoke a pipe? Yeah, Hank Stram, maybe. Tom Landry? I dunno. I think it might have been Stram... Could you imagine if Manning said "You know what, I am not sure about next year, I just know I want to go home and eat some gluten filled bread" Could you imagine the uproar? Or what if he mentioned wanting some peanuts...think of all the kids that have peanut allergies?

  8. Wait...Manning talked about beer? I think I know a few posters that will have something to say about this!
  9. Even though Ed said he was interested in the job...many posters state that it is a fact that he did not have interest.
  10. I used to like the commute I had...It was probably about 25 minutes or so...have some coffee and put in a fat chew (when I chewed) and it was not bad at all
  11. Rubio fell apart at times Christie had an interesting plan (I assume it was his plan) to attack Rubio over and over. Trump sounded good...especially on waterboarding.
  12. Do you think that Hank's roommate in the dorms would ask him to buy booze?

  14. Funny that Hughes lived in the dorms and said he wasn't gonna buy a house or move his family here...

  15. Oh yeah! Totally forgot about that guy... OU has some "stuff"...what was that book, Down and Out...by Charles Thompson. That has some amazing stuff in it
  16. I would like to see proof of that. I can't remember any that NU has bought...but there have really only been a few that I have ever heard that have been bought...like the SMU team and that cat that started at Bama and ended up at Memphis but I can't remember his name...Oh...and the entire team in the movie Blue Chips...
  17. As someone that did something a bit similar...if possible...commute.
  18. Now...if he had cheated on his work and got admitted into the Academy of Fine Arts...
  19. How refreshing to know that someone with such high morals and scruples is teaching the youth of today. Please find another line of work. So, is it okay for your students to cheat as long as they don't get caught? Don't be all that surprised. This is coming from someone who has admitted to having sex with women without consent and treating it like a joke. Google "O'Really" (without the quote marks), then click on "images" (again, without the quote marks) and browse to your hearts content.I used this one because it looks as ghey as JJ's comment makes you sound. That is amazing! I firmly believe that Patty Stewart has an amazing sense of humor! Nice find!

My guess is that consent was not needed because she was in the same mood as him and they didn't have time to stop and ask each other if they wanted to have sex. Ha! We both forgot to fill out the consent form!

Wait...were you the guy that got removed from a bar because a girl felt unsafe with you?
  23. How refreshing to know that someone with such high morals and scruples is teaching the youth of today. Please find another line of work. So, is it okay for your students to cheat as long as they don't get caught? I thought parents were who their kids looked to for their moral compass. Hmmm, guess not. Nice excuse for your own lack of morals. Yes, parents should be the primary force for shaping their kids morals but, as a teacher or coach, you also help shape their opinions and feelings on things. Those kids are influenced by your feelings and thoughts whether you or I like it or not. If you are passing on the message that cheating is okay as long as you don't get caught, then you should not be teaching/coaching kids in any capacity. If that truth hurts or hits too close to home, it might be time for you to look in the mirror and reevaluate why you are teaching or coaching youth. It really has nothing at all to do with the parents or anyone other than yourself. I'll do my job as a parent. The question is, will you be helping me reinforce the good messages or will you actively be working against me? Got it...teachers should think just like the parents... Also, John Wooden cheated like crazy

  25. As I think about some of this I really think that if I was in that position and was being offered free dinners, drinks and cash just because I was a player...I think that I would probably be taking it. I might not even think much about it if I was out grabbing some pizza and drinks and the waiter came over and was like "Hey, just wanted to let you know that the bill has been taken care of" The textbook thing as a way to pass money...that was pretty interesteing and whoever pointed that out is totally right. ColoradoHusker and myself had a friend that would, at times, "get books for free at the bookstore" and would of course return them for cash.
