Defense deserves better

Keep seeing comments about needing to get a special teams coordinator, and I don't think we need one. We definitely need a kicker and a punt returner that makes good decisions, but beyond that I don't think we need much. Our coverage has been decent, kickoffs have mostly gone through the end zone, and our new punter seems more than decent. If Verduzco were to get booted or demoted to analyst, would prefer we get an interior or exterior o-line coach.

Wouldn't mind if Chins was HC.

-If Austin didn't have two guys drafted last year, I'd say 'leave his a$$ in Norman.' -Piper cost us yet again. Him getting bulldozed on that extra point turned the tide is the game, and reflects his play all year. -Culp mentally may never recover from this. -THE DEFENSE HAS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF!!! -Also, if Rahmir is your guy, why hasn't he started all year?

Don't know why Frost abandoned the run near the end zone.

Think the stats have shown most of the weakness in the line is coming from the left side. Seen quite a few times when Corcoran has been overpowered, and Piper seems to be missing assignments. Not saying the rest of the line is great, but that left side definitely needs to be rethought.

They beat an undersized FCS team that has gone 7-27 (0-2, '21; 1-8, '20; 3-9, '19; and 3-8, '18) over the past 4 seasons. Not saying we'll win, but really should take nothing from this game.
