  1. ganz brought leadership and accountability to the offense.
  2. Hard to due when he only has about 2 1/2 seconds to throw the ball, JGanz would make plays with his feet and allow his receivers to get open, ZLee can't do anything with his feet sometimes i look at the screen and see that we do have guys open underneath, but for some reason Lee holds onto the ball or throws it downfield toward the sideline. either way get c. green in there for a series, he can't do much worse.
  3. the more and more i watch our offense sputter i think ganz's leadership was the reason why we had a good offense, rather that wats' play calling. we need c. green and offensive coordinator that is not afraid to establish our will on other teams. i hate this crap of lets just take what the def gives us. if you are good in a certain set and opposing defenses can't stop you, then do it. it should not matter if you are gaining yards how predictable your offense is.
  4. i am now officially on the bandwagon to fire wats. how come he's not using the two tightend sets like in the MU game?
  5. here are his highlights http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4930/quincy-enunwa he is definitely not afraid to go over the middle
  6. After Allen leaves next year we would only have 3 scholarship DE's on the roster (Meredith, Ankrah, and Williams) if we didn't take any this year. Even now we are thin, if Allen or Turner were to go down we would have no rotation because it seems as though Williams is still learning and Ankrah is redshirting. I would hope that if Gabbert decommits we use that schollie for DE or DT's because we are still extremely thin in this area.
  7. dropped to 4 stars for not favoring NU Port St. Lucie (Fla.) Treasure Coast linebacker Jeff Luc dropped from the No. 12 spot to No. 25, and also slid from five stars to four. The 6-1, 230-pounder remains one of the nation's most elite players, but a senior evaluation by Rivals.com analysts showed a few small flaws in his game. "Luc struggled to get off blocks and it was apparent that his inability to make plays versus Daytona Beach Mainland was hampered by stiffness issues," Every said. "The bottom line is a five-star linebacker should be making plays regardless of the opponent, and Luc was unproductive. "That should not take away from all of the positives he brings to the table. We're still talking about a kid that ranks among the top 25 players in the nation. He's still an extremely special player that will definitely see early playing time on special teams and work his way into the starting lineup by his second season. He also remains one of the hardest-hitting prospects in the nation." http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1001293
  8. UCLA is his favorite http://usc.scout.com/a.z?s=15&p=2&...2%2f908915.html
  9. per espn J.R. Ferguson (Frederick, Md./Hargrave) will make an official visit to Notre Dame Nov. 21st according to his father, ESPN affiliate Web site IrishSportsDaily.com reports. Ferguson recently cut his list of 50-plus offers down to ten; Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Maryland, North Carolina, Miami, Florida State, California and UCLA. On top of the Notre Dame official, Mr. Ferguson said that LSU and Oklahoma will likely receive official visits and they've schedule and unofficial visit for South Carolina. He added, "We'll chop it down to five or six. We will hopefully get that done by the end of next week, if not sooner. It's safe to assume, Notre Dame, LSU and Oklahoma will make the cut."
  10. Would he just bolt to Mizzou or would he open it up completely? munson made it seem as though he is going to mizzou. edit: he said he likes the depth chart at mizzou. just comes to show nothing good or bad said on this board is affecting some of these kids decisions.
  11. munson seems to think he is going to bolt
  12. As RB? I guess someone in the image of Javorski Lane? I just can't see him having a future at RB.
  13. I don't think Wats is completely to blame. Helu was sick so we couldn't commit to the run as much as we liked, and our O has no personality. When you think of the good O's around the country they have a personality, a certain swagger to them. What we need is a LEADER ON OFFENSE and no one has been willing to step up to the plate (except Suh when he pulled Lee to the side). Wats can only do so much until someone emerges.
  14. SHOCKER!!!! "The highly sought after receiver still hasn't trimmed a lengthy list of scholarship offers. White recently told SN Today that he was keeping an eye on USC, LSU, Texas, Florida, Nebraska, Notre Dame and the Sooners, of course. He said he was just looking for a place where he'd fit in, where he could have some fun." http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/TheRecrui...homa_in_the_mix
  15. I don't think he reconsiders, but it seems as though old Bobby made be shown the door soon. "My hope is frankly that we'll go ahead, and if we have to, let the world know that this year will be the end of the Bowden era," chairman Jim Smith told the Tallahassee Democrat on Sunday. " ... I do appreciate what he's done for us, what he's done for the program, what he's done really for the state of Florida. "I think the record will show that the Seminole Nation has been more than patient. We have been in a decline not for a year or two or three but I think we're coming up on seven or eight. I think enough is enough." http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4531451
  16. don't know how many receivers they are taking but UF just picked up their second WR, has to help our chances.
  17. Word is that if Gabbert does go to Mizzou, there would be good news on the QB recruiting front shortly after. who? least drop a city or something. Think Illinois Detchauz Wray/Sean Robinson? Yep, Rob is what i've heard I'll take that trade
  18. We should have the #1 scoring defense going into the game.
