Here's a link to a good LP highlight film if anyone is interested. I love the way he almost just dances around or hops when he is waiting for his blocks and then just explodes when he has the hole. LP

I really think that he runs a lot like LP, minus the power of course, because he just doesn't have that size yet, but he can run with power too. Just the way he hits a hole and then just slows his feet and almost slides and then just bursts forward again really reminds me of LP.

I assume you may already know this EZ, but tim_may is the most reliable insider rivals free board. If he says somethings going to happen, it always does. That being said, I can't tell if he is joking around or giving some inside info here. Still good to see though.

Anyone wanna throw in a movie for us to watch while we wait? I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to rub it in, but I'm watching Owa's in-home visit right now. I rigged a camera in his living room and then invited my friends over to watch the feed, ala Revenge of the Nerds. At first we couldn't see anything, so I told my friend to pan down. Then I yelled, "We've got Bo! We've got Bo." Sorry. I'm losing my mind here. Simply Classic!!!!!!

No doubt Nexus. I know that he is a lot shorter, but he really reminds me of LP with the way he runs. Add another 15-20 lbs of good weight on this kid and he is gonna be unreal.

I know that Carl Pelini said that Randle has the fastest first step he has seen for a defensive lineman in a long time. I'm guessing that's what you are thinking of.

Moudy is the top rated 3 star at OT according to rivals, so I wouldn't be suprised to see him end up with that 4th star in the final rankings.

So I have read a few TuffTiger quotes on peoples sig lines but I always assumed it was a husker fan jackin around. But reading through Cy's prediction thread from last year that Enhance dug up I read a bunch of his posts and I was . Either TuffTiger is the real deal or his posts are pure comic genious. Does anybody know for sure? Maybe its better left as a mystery. All I know is that I am going to be waiting in anticipation for his next appearance!

That's awesome neguy because I thought exactly the same thing while I was watching that! I wish that would translate into more Samoan kids ending up here, but unfortunately I think that pulling those kids from the coastal schools (specifically pac 10) is nearly impossible.

Also could say the coach that is recruiting you has the reputation to jump ships whenever something good pops up so do you really want to take the chance of him leaving before your time is done and be stuck in a bad situation? I'm pretty sure Bo wouldn't try this style of recruiting against a guy who was in his wedding.

Oh man, I told myself I wouldn't get my hopes up, but here I am. I might go off the deep end if Owa doesn't come here. He is as close to a can't miss prospect as there is considering the person he is both on and off the field.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Here are some possible scenarios leading up to Feb. 3rd. -- Assuming Carnes doesn't commit on the spot, then that leaves him 9 days to sit on our offer before the 1st day of LOI's are signed. -- He'll more than likely visit Western Kentucky since he has a relationship with Coach Taggart. -- There is also the possibility of a visit to Cincinnati. If we assume that he plans to visit all of the above schools then his decision will likely come after Feb. 3rd. Unless he plans on seeing WKU & Cincy consecutive days within that 9 day window after leaving Lincoln, but I don't see that happening. Therefore his decision won't come until after Feb. 3rd. So the question is, does Bo give Carnes a timeline of when he expects a decision, assuming he offers him on the spot? If the rumor that Godfrey is supposed to visit NU on 1/29 is true, then how does that play into Carnes's potential offer? Does Bo offer Carnes ahead of the Godfrey visit with the assumption that he'll sit on his decision for a few days while taking his other visits, yet still entertains Godfrey on his official visit as a backup plan? Or does Bo wait until Carnes & Godfrey complete their official visits at NU before he offers either of them? This would mean that he'll wait to offer the person of his choice on or after Jan. 31st leaving 3 days before LOI's are signed. Any thoughts on this? Yah, it seems to be an unpredictable situation without knowing exactly what the coaches are thinking. Is there any possibility that we would take both of them? I am sure that if both Owa and Cooper committed we would not have the room, but lets say one or both of them go elsewhere, then what? Would we save a scholly or two for next year? Would we take another O-lineman (Simek or Fulton)? Would we offer Marsh? Would take a plan B guy at safety? There are a lot more possibilities. Just curious if anyone has heard whether or not both of these guys are locked into playing qb. If by some chance we did end up taking both, if one of them was not making out well at qb they both seem athletic enough to play a variety of positions. TO made a living off of taking HS qb's and rb's and moving them all over the field.

I doubt that very much. Everything I've heard is his relationship with Stoops is VERY VERY good and that is why he's visiting. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at FSU. It didn't dawn on me until today, but I am wondering if Corey Cooper and Zach Fulton are friends. They go to different highschools in Chicago, but Proviso East (A private school in Maywood) where Cooper attends and Homewood-Flossmoor (a public school in Homewood) are not very far away from each other. I tried to find if they had any kind of history together but I couldn't find anything, but it is not far fetched to think that these guys' paths would have crossed many a time through the course of life in other sports and activities. They may even live near each other. I am really wondering if the reason that Fulton is expressing interest in NU is due to Cooper. Is it possible that Cooper is pretty much N and just taking a trip to Florida St. for the enjoyment of it? Maybe Fulton knows Cooper will be here and wants to see if he wants to join him. All this is obviously pure speculation, but the details make you wonder. On a secondary note, check out this article. It's about Prater's and Cooper's friendship. I understand why a lot of folks on here are saying that it seems that Carnes has more upside and better tools, but we have seen many players like that come in and do jack squat. Carnes' film shouts "I am getting by on pure athleticism and speed alone and I have no mental toughness". Godfrey's film on the other hand SCREAMS "I am a winner and will give every last ounce of what I have to my coaches and team, I will never quit and I don't care who you are, I AM GOING TO BEAT YOU!" Obviously that is JMO. Make no mistake about it, Bo has the final say, so if Bo has Carnes ahead of Godfrey then he doesn't see things the way I do, and I will defer to Bo.
