  1. Milt had some interesting comments regarding the linemen on husker illustrated radio. He seemed very impressed with A-Rod, Cotton, and Moore physically and mentally. He said the line has a chance to be exceptional this year. Basically said the line will be better than last year just based on the fact that they won't have to backpedal in pass pro as much. They can just fire off the line at people. Said Yoshi is very physical. Caputo may be a little undersized, but not in heart. Said the biggest concern obviously was finding a back up center. Likes the depth at tackle. I didn't catch the whole interview unfortunately, but that's the gist of what I heard.
  2. Yes, they each have a torn ACL and a broken elbow.
  3. It's a good thing no reasonable human actually thinks we're going to do that.
  4. Did he say it like that? He said Tyler is going to play a lot of football this year, but I don't remember him saying that, exactly. He said the depth chart is constantly changing at this point. He also said he forgets Tyler is a true freshman because he was here for the spring and is ahead of the curve.
  5. Ahh memories. I'm reminded of the late 80s when I was hired as lead keyboardist for the heavy metal band Megadeth. I was later kicked out for excessive excess. But you kids don't want to hear that old story.
  6. Am I the only one who is going to write-in Charlie Sheen?
  7. Yes, because it's impossible for a building to be damaged just from two much larger buildings falling down on top of it. It's simple logic.
  8. Sweet baby Jesus in a canoe, not this crap again. I don't understand the "controversy". Two giant buildings fell on top of it, it got broken. You'd think architects and engineers would understand that steel bends, steel breaks, steel buckles, etc. It's not indestructible. Although I do understand that's not as awesome of a story as it being an internal demolition, organized by Lee Harvey Oswald and Tupac, all filmed in a studio in LA. Financed, of course, by D.B. Cooper. So it makes sense people want to ignore what actually happened. It's not as entertaining as some made up horsepoopy.
  9. It'll be hard to compete with the stuff we bought from those hippies in Colorado. Oh, wait... nvm
  10. Welcome, friend. I run things around here. I hope you enjoy your time on HuskerBoard.
  11. Get real. Ron Brown is by far the handsomest of all Nebraska football coaches.
  12. Northwestern has a football team? I'll be damned.
  13. Burkhead-1200 yards rushing - over Crick-9.5 sacks - over Martinez-2000 yards passing - over Kyler Reed-6 touchdown catches - over David-120 tackles - under Dennard-4 ints - under Jamal Turner-10 total touchdowns - under
  14. Rex Burkhead on the other hand... WOWWEE! (no homo)
  15. We got a lot of GREAT young O-linemen on the roster. It's about time our offensive line start showing some improvement. We need pancakes instead of excuses. Was Andrew hurt or something? This doesn't seem to gel with his story about having to play injured guys later in the season, because we didn't have any depth. Wasn't someone else injured that he had to step in for? Yeah for K-State. Then he said Andrew didn't really play much after that. Which I found odd because before he was talking about having to play injured guys towards the end of the season.
  16. Let the record show that husker_99 conceded that what he said is, in fact, blatantly not true.
  17. I agree, very interesting. The offer list is legit though, I guess a lot of these schools that have offered him are filling up and do not have as much of a need for LBs. My big question is if he wants do we take Nance or Lambert if one them wants too? I'd say hell yes.
