Yep. Most of the passes Gabbert completed last October were pinpoint throws in blanket coverage, with Crick and Meredith and Allen constantly in his face. If I'm an NFL exec and my choice is Locker or Gabbert, based on what I've seen of the two, I'm taking Gabbert every single time.
Honestly, I haven't seen Locker play too much besides the couple Husker games. So obviously that doesn't tell the whole story. But if you're a NFL exec, looking at how they do against a secondary with NFL talent that runs NFL schemes, like Nebraska, is a pretty damned good place to start.
