In my opionion this season was a big step foward for this program. The offense definitley took a step backwards but we were competitive in every game. When is the last time we could say that? We showed that we can play with anybody like Texas ,Ok, and Vtech. I dont care if it was a down year for Ok they still have alot of talent. Overall we should of won some games that we lost like texas and Iowa state but I am happy with this teams effort and they way they finished the season. Bo's teams seem to finish strong. I also like that we beat alot of our big rivals Ok, Mizzou, Kstate, and Colorado.

I would not be surprised if Gill gets him to go to Kansas. He can tell him that he can start right away. And toss the ball around under a head coach who knows a thing or two about being a qb. I would love to have this kid be N but if he goes anywhere i bet its Kansas.

Im happy that pelini is stepping up and taking control of the offense. I dont think wats is happy about it either if you ask me. I would love to have bamas offense with a great D.

On rivals it says that pelini talks about what direction we are going to go with for our offense anybody with a subscribtion know what it says?

Thats what he said but I wonder if we stopped recruiting him after he commited to ND? Or if the coaches have kept in contact? If they did I bet he would consider us again.

Was listening to ESPN radio the Herd this morning and they were talking to a guy that covers the big 10 and he said that rutgers and some teams like NE and Mizzou in the big 12 north are the teams that they are looking at other than Notre Dame who they said wont leave because of their NBC deal.

is this kid still solid with ND or is he looking elsewhere now? I would think with Kelly's pass happy offense going there he would look around but who knows.

No. Aaron will be a 5 star recruit. He is not in the least bit worried about the depth chart. Word out of Texas is that it is an NU vs USC race for him. With that said is he worried about depth? Not if USC is any kind of player in this. A Texas Preps guy said awhile back that he is ours to lose. (keep your fingers crossed). Check out Aaron's film. The kid would go into any program in the nation and contribute from day one. About Heard, Bo Pelini himself has handled everything about this kids recruitment. Lets see if he can real him in. I would not bet against it. Um Heard is a 5 star recruit to. I do think that it affects Aarons decision but that we will still be that favorites for him. Heard is a 4 Star Recruit, but he is a Rivals 100 guy. Any of his top teams will have good to great talent on board, I don't think this affects Aaron's decision as much. Your right my bad.

Ya I think that Owa is going to be on board and be N at the AA game. It will be sweet to see him pick the hat with the N on it.

On scout it says that he caught the Neb vs Tx game and thought we got screwed pretty much said he might not even visit USC and will decide in the AA game.

I dont know if you are right or not but I read on espn that Notre Dame most likely will not accept a bowl game this year. So we can still tie this year with a bowl win and a loss to texas or take it this year with both wins.

I have a feeling that Lee is going to get hurt and I hate to say that but after watching the Kstate game and some hits he took and it seems like they are having Zac run more now against that Texas D if he takes hits like that he will be hurt. And he is kinda banged up right now.

I think this would be a good gamble. You could tell Gabbert he is an ATH so he wont complain and try him out at a couple positions maybe even qb.

Ya I agree I cant stand Colorado, Kstate, or Mizzou but with Kansas I went down there and was treated great its a great friendly north rivalary.

I dont know I think Green will push Lee this spring and fall and would not be surprised if Green beats him out. Dont get me wrong Lee should be starting right now because Green is still raw. But he will have a full year here and I think is more talented. And almost beat him out during his freshman year. I do think that Green is better at running the offense that they are running right now with just two reads or run. And the option would work better with Green I think.

Maybe 20-30 years ago. Get real we dont sit here and say ya Nebraska is the place to be if your a coach. They will not get Urban Meyer! Maybe Brian Kelly from Cinci or patterson from TCU. But they will probably screw it up and pick someone from the nfl with no college experience.

Meh, I've heard worse. Sometimes it takes personal shots to get people motivated. I dont have issue with any of these comments. Bet you would if it was someone in your family that got shot.
