  1. Disagree. We have enough people on this team that can shoot. We need Diaz to get rebounds and be physical. The points just come as an extra. If you are the tallest person on the court you should be getting more than 2 rebounds a game. Yeah he had 14 but how many of those points were from posting up and playing stronger than the other guy??? Maybe 2 points out of the 14. The rest were because of nice angle passes set up by someone else. Who freaking cares if he posted up and scored or didn't, he scored, we have not scored significant points for a long time. He did haven't to get his own rebounds because he made the basket. Sure maybe he missed a few rebounds, but he scored 14, you can try to say what you want but I will take 14 points and 2 rebounds from him every game. Comparing him to Morris in that other post is asinine by the way. We need points, other guys get rebounds, we are averaging more offensive and defensive in league play, so who gives a $@ who gets them. Seriously go to a game! Guarantee I have gone to more. Watching someone score 14 for us is a big deal, he shoots 56% I mean seriously shut up. Who cares about the passes and how he scored he scored.
  2. Yep 7 for 8 and 14 points, we better not see that reoccur, that would be just terrible. God he better shoot better then that, because if he doesn't then he is just not good. Really dude either watch the game and count some makes or bring a stat sheet to fill while the game is going on, sometimes our other guys get rebounds he has tipped to them or is going for. He is consistent scorer down low, get over it, your wrong.
  3. A hockey rink is going to to built for Nebraska, the donation has been made it will be south of the new arena, just so all of you who have no clue know. The money was donated by an owner of a NHL team. The club team got this done about 2 years ago. It will have 2 rinks in the building and it will be UNL's.
  4. I never said they suck away from Boulder, I said they are a different team. Other than New Mexico (at Las Vegas, not in the Pit) and K-State, CU has not had a tough road game; they have had a couple tough home games. So with these stats I'm about to show you, you can't say "well duh, that's because they scheduled cream-puffs for home games and traveled to tough venues." At home, Colorado is winning with an average score of 89-67. What are they away from Boulder? They lose by an average of 76-78. And again, these numbers aren't that skewed by easy home games and a few tough road games. If you don't believe me, go look at their schedule. Say what you will about the altitude being a factor or just an excuse, teams do get winded up there and CU definitely takes advantage of that. You talk about Kstate and OSU. OSU hasn't beaten anybody yet this season, other than Kstate. And speaking of Kstate, they haven't done much yet either. They beat VaTech, Gonzaga, Washington State - none of those is mega-impressive. They were smoked by Duke and Florida, and have lost to UNLV, OSU, and CU. It's impressive that CU has beat KSU and OSU, no doubt. But let's not make it out like they've beaten Ohio State and Syracuse. As for your statement about Doc's one game that surprises a top flight team - give me a break. First off, that KU team knows how Nebraska plays by now, they weren't caught by surprise. Second, Doc has never had a game where his team went to a place as tough as the Phog and lost to the #3 team in the nation by 3 points. Don't even try to compare that to beating a #20 Kstate team at the Bob, or going up 4 on KU in the middle of the first half only to lose by 15. This game was different than any of those in the past. The fact that you call this classic NU bball tells me you don't watch NU bball. Classic ball under Doc would be hanging in the game until 8-12 minutes left, then giving up a 19-2 run and eventually losing by 13 or more. That happened all the time the last few years. That has not happened once this year. This is not "classic NU bball," not even close. Actually this is exactly what happened during the Vandy game if you watched.
  5. How in the {:content:}amp;#* would you have any idea who wrote it, you have to kidding me with this. His dad sent it, better make some stupid crap up about how didn't write it, get over yourself dude. I fairly sure Taylor wrote it. And I can reverse this and ask you...how do you know he didn't write it? Funny how that works, isn't it? May I suggest we take a casual stroll to the smack room? And so could his friend/mom/coach can't anyone just believe stuff, tell them to send me the password. And I will crush your hopes and dreams. LOL ok internet tough guy, whatever you say. I was just having fun, now you made it not fun.

  8. First off that bar is horrible. Second I have taken shots there. Third that building is destroyed. And lastly that bar is horrible.
  9. You know what I think put Zac %^*&^%$#%^&*#&^%$#%^&*( Lee in. My god give someone a god damn chance. Remember MU last year, dude can lead a comeback. Just give him a freaking chance, I mean *&(*&*&$$*#^^^*(&^*#&.
  10. 200 is closer to field dude, you got good tickets, I did not have enough points for level 2, so I got ticket in the 300s. Now club seats that's your own opinion farther away but more amenities.
  11. In Coulmbia MS, when the turd ball was head coach I had seats directly behind Sam Keller's family/girlfriend. I did not know this and began screaming for Joe probably in the first quarter. This continued until we were losing by about 30, his girlfriend turns around and yells if I don't having anything nice I need to keep my &$^%$ mouth shut. I told her if her boyfriend could throw it to the right team, I wouldn't have to open open my &$^$# mouth. I still proceeded to yell for Joe Ganz the entire time right in there families ear. My bad fan moment.
  12. It was how the play is called, for anyone that has played football on your hands team many of your skilled players are in, first the object is to get the ball, the next is don't hurt your good players on the kickoff. Roy was out there McNiell as well and many other important players. Marlowe has instructions in the play to run to 20-25 so there is no fumble and all is fine. He ran the play exactly how he was suppose to.
  13. I'm glad that you watch all the games very closely. Becasue I am sure you would remember we have this exact play and it was run to Niles and he would have scored six IF Taylor had not completely screwed up the read, ran to close to Niles, and then looked like a nerd trying to get it to him. It was during Okie State. It is a reverse zone read to the wide reciever and it a great play if you excuted right, and pretty sure Niles was the played the best out of anyone agaisnt Kansas, 4 third down snags in crucial situations, prolly should put him on the bench.
  14. I remember this topic from before and someone had posted a map of every student section in the big 12 and ours was by far the smallest of them all and the most concentrated in one area. Ours also goes up instead of spreads outs. It can create noise from the bounce back from the box and the north but if the students were closer to the field the difference would be amazing. It really is a shame, remember when dumbass TO got here he took 1000 students seats away from the edge for people that are paying a donation. You know what the biggest donations is? Tuition, I am sorry but if Bo wants it louder they really should move the students into the east more instead of higher in the stadium, I think we also have the smallest student section per percentage of students and seats in the BIG12.
  15. In their defense, they don't schedule the game times. That is determined by the television networks that pick the games up. Actually this game could have been played at any time, pay-per-view is not required for games that are not televised. If a game is not on the package from the conference it does not have to be on TV. Tom wanted the PPV so that's is why it was at 6. Just so you know
  16. Bo and Carl can shut their damn mouths. I don't give two *^&^ what they think about the fans, how about you shut up and coach instead of worrying about the crowd. Why are you throwing the ball when you could have just sat on it AND THEN YOU CALLED A TIMEOUT, you look like an idiot. Shut up Bo, how about all the idiotic timeouts you use though the game, do the fans question those! You have cost your self tons of chances to seal or win games because you used some timeout on a 3rd and inches. I call you out for not coaching well at home and looking like an out of control gorilla on the sidelines with no composure. Don't schedule a game at 600 in NOVEMBER Bo or Tom or whoever, its freaking cold. There I showed him! You can all thank me later! And I hope you next week Bo! GBR!
  17. Is there a mute button for idiots?
  18. +1, be loud the D will figure it out, no issue at all
  19. They are not holding anything back, they are using what they have schemed for in practice, obviously some trick plays have not been used but that does not count. Second throwing down field is not being held back, its not being used because the quarterback cannot throw the ball in the right spot or far enough or with enough arch to complete them.
  20. It happened, not to lie, but other schools have been doing this way before the student section started doing it. It is not a Nebraska tradition just so you know. It was copied just like the "black out" crap.
  21. AP fumbles and catches hell for it. Martinez has made more big plays in two games than Paul will make all year, Book it! (IBR'd). I'd have to struggle to think which big plays Paul's made that supercede his infamous performances. He's the reason NU's a running team if he's the biggest passing threat, and Mike McNeill would have something to say about that. The best players on this team in no particular order; (since you so declared Paul up there in your smattering of run-on sentences and grammar bombs) Helu Burkhead Martinez McNeill Crick Steinkuhler --Oh and if he's drafted, its late and he's cut unless his brain grows rapidly. First off he will get drafted, second Martinez has proven nothing to be in the top 3, Lee looked like a great passer last year two games in, him on your list is based of hype just like last year for Lee. Its just like the media putting that Michicant guy up for Heisman after two games, they beat no one #1 and Notre Turd. And third Mateniez will make more plays BECAUSE HE TOUCHES THE BALL 55-60 TIMES A GAME. Granted Paul is not a quarterback but your rational is flawed and emotional at best. When Paul makes a big play we better just mark it off the scoreboard so it doesnt count, and to say again HE BLOCKS REALLY HARD SO MARTINEZ CAN RUN, if he they run to his side more then any other wideout because he is a very good blocker, this allows for big runs/extra yards.
  22. 6 is about right, they will score points and our offense will struggle in the first half on the road
  23. Adrian Peterson fumbles, Martinez FUMBLES he actually has more turnovers then Paul this year. You know what things happen when you are trying to make big plays, they are high risk with full speed contact down the field, pretty sure by all of your arguments that anyone that Gomez made fumble like Kerry Meier he should probably had never played after that. Or the Idaho quarterback he better never play again because he threw 5 picks. Roy should just hang it up because he fumble the ball sometimes too. Niles Paul is THE biggest threat on the team on specials teams and the passing game, he is going to get drafted so SHUT the bleep up. Your not the coach the best players play in the game on every play they are called on, Paul is the 3rd best player on the team so shut it. Plus he blocks like an absolute animal every run, just watch him he plays freakin hard, he will push the corner every time, he is very valuable in the outside run game so all you people that want to take him out, no more Marteniz long runs or at least as many. You need to watch the whole game of football and not just the guy with the ball every time, there are too many small things he does way better then ANYONE. Learn some schematic football you extremely rude people.
  24. And one 24 year old fan that will never wear it black to a game either, and I had to deal with the a-holes in the student section mad that I did not wear black on those stupid stupid days.
