While it wouldnt be fun to have the bad luck continue, the positive thing is we can use those scholarships to go grab someone in the second round of recruiting. I thought we might be tapped out after today, but still plenty of players out there. Kaden Johnson is a bummer but we have added some great LB's. No idea whats happening with Francois, but I get it... this time of year is stressful... Maybe a random 3rd school called and held up everything.

Most of what I have heard is his "stabilizing system" is in boystown and the closer he is to that, the better it is. So that could help, I just think with the amount of red flags on him, we need to be careful... but I trust Hoiberg and hope this is what Teddy needs... I hope I eat crow.

Kind of my thought across the board--forgot about Payne. I sort of thought they would leave a few spots open for Feb but honestly doesnt seem to be that way. I know the odds of getting all 4 of Johnson/Fleming/Francois and Brown arent amazing but honestly with the steam of this staff, I wouldnt be shocked. They are KILLING it this last week.

So, we have to have limited spots I would assume, but I think its safe to say we have fairly legit shot to add Johnson, Fleming, Brown and Francois... is that correct? Slusher seems like a stretch. Cant say I have heard much on Dennis or Hester. Best case scenario we add the 4 I mentioned, do we even have room?

Man.. The Pony Posse was around back when things were a lot more testy before that big purge. Always made me laugh when some posters actually got mad about the Pony Posse and would call out others manhood.

I dont like Fleck.. He is basically a walking sound machine but that being said, I have come to respect the guy. He strikes me as the guy that probably lets his salesy side get in the way a bit, but I think he does things the right way mostly. I dont think he would be throwing cheap shots, but I also think he would be the type that talks a lot, doesnt do well in the fight and yet STILL talks. Still interested to see if he leaves MN in a couple years and all this talk of family and building something is proven to be BS.

I am curious how many spots will truly be "open" after the first signing day. Lets say we get 18 signatures and have 5-8 spots open for the second signing period.... I am excited about if they then try more of a "shoot for the stars" route or a "lets just fill some spots" mentality. Always interesting to see what names come out of nowhere after that person decided not to sign in December and teams are trying to fill spots

Nah man, you are in the wrong here. This isnt about being PC. This is about being honest about the culture of rape and how rape victims dont come forward because they know its their word vs the rapist. You have just as many facts as we all do and the facts are the young lady says she didnt give consent. I am fine with both guys getting a fair trial but I am not ok with bashing the victim. If it comes out that she lied and wrongfully accused, then I believe she also deserves a day in court and consequences but as of now, you are in the wrong and might want to step away from the computer.

He is getting decent minutes. They worked pretty hard to convince him to stay but no idea. Jervay Green and Dachon Burke could both be guys who see writing on the wall. Or a gull year in system might give them chance. We are going to run small ball most likely.. Walker probably plays more of a 5. Banton more off guard and Stevenson hybrid guard/forward.
