I agree he has had plenty of time to get this program headed in the right direction. I watched the Houston/ Arizona game last week and saw that Houston hired Tom Pender last year and in his second year he already has that team turned around. If a coach is good he will show improvement each year. I haven't seen that at Nebraska so far. Lets hope with this recruiting class they start showing that improvement. Texas, Okla are football schools and look at them.... GBR!!!

Arrowhead may be putting a roof on that The NFL wants for them to get a Super Bowl. That would be the place I would like to see it held when its done. Having it in Texas till some thing is decided can only help Nebraska if we can get to the title game on a regular basis. Since the Big 12 was formed it has only killed our recruting down there. Tex, TexT,Tex AM, get first pick and the rest of the conf gets the left overs. The super conf thing only saved the Texas schools didn't do anything for the Big 8. IMO GBR!!!

Does anyone know how many Scholarships we have to offer this year? I see some teams are ranked ahead of us but their star ratting is lower than ours because of the size of their class so far. GBR!!!

I think Nebraska can match any amount the NFL would offer him if they did come calling. Don't know if they would thou. I think if coach C gets this program where he wants it, it would have to be a heck of an offer to get him out of here. I think he likes the rapport with the players at this level. GBR!!!

There is not a coach at least not a good one with any time under his belt that would sign a 2 or 3 year contract to coach at a program like Nebraska or any other top Schools. They have to have time, at least 3 or 4 years to show which direction the program is going. Coach C. might be heading in the right direction, at least I hope he is, but its still to early to tell yet. Last game looked like he was starting to get his ideas instilled into this team. It was only one good complete in the last three and the run still needs some work. GBR!!!

Col 68th Texas is #1 I remember an article back when the Big 12 was being formed that said this would help Texas more than it would help the old Big 8 teams now that the Texas kids could play against Neb. The article went on to say that a lot of Texas kids wanted to play against Neb but that we never played Texas so if they couldn't play against us they would just as soon play for us. IMO it looks like this might just be whats happening. Still looks like we have a start to another good recruiting class begining. GBR!!!

What I remember about Coz at Wis was he would have up and down years never seemed to put to many good defences together in a row. He is slow at changing up the defence during a game also. By the way why did Barry Alverez let him go knowing he was going to retire and then hand the team over to his D/C for next year? Wis defence this year was horrible. GBR!!!

I thought we played T.T. even and they will be in a bowl game. Stayed with OKL and they to are going to a bowl and so should I.st who we beat. These kids deserve to be in a bowl game because I'm sure they are hereing the same stuff as we talk about on this board. They might get their heads handed to them against a team like Fla.st but they have been fighting for this all year. This about them now. I hope they have a hell of a good time win or loose. GBR!!!

I switched over to that game and saw that crew and the first play I watched was a flag for pass intf on I.st. Even the tv guys said it was a bad call. That crew is really bad. They need to spread out those refs in other crews till they learn a little more. GBR!!! Yuo don't think they will be in Boulder do you?

I never thought I would be happy just to see the Huskers get their 6th win of the season. OK we are not the Huskers of old but lets wait and see if they can keep improving over next year. People seem to be giving up on them before next season even gets here. I think we are still 2 yrs away from a very good team but that next years will be better than this years. Nobody knows for sure, all we got is hope right now for next year and hope for another good recruiting class. GBR!!!

I hated to see have to burn his r/s year but what a time for him to have do it. Thats got give him a lot of confidence. Coach C made the call that he figured would give us the best chance to win. It is "his" team. GBR!!!
