  1. KSUcks really scares me down there in Manhattan...Baldy may be fighting for his job by then...
  2. Except now the guy with the worst luck in NU history is finished for the year...
  3. that made me laugh OMG...my dog looked at me funny because I was laughing so hard! Priceless!
  4. Blocking, catching, and speed are why I believe Marlon will make a terrific 3rd down back in the NFL. He will get drafted mid round, and make a name for himself in the NFL. Man, he is a terrific blocker in pass pro!
  5. Good questions. You need better shot composition. You should have positioned yourself or TO better, or picked a different location to interview him. You also don't need to show yourself asking all of the questions. Shoot some cutaways to use between Oz's bytes. All in all, not bad.
  6. I firmly believe that Spano will be the QB next year. That's why I don't believe it matters that the backups are getting many reps. We saw what happened when they got in in the NMSU game...not good. Besides, Joey has only started 10 games, and has only played meaningful minutes in 11. I don't have a problem with it, although I would have liked to have seen him come out last Saturday.
  7. When the offense wasn't clicking like it should have against VaTech and Mizery, I think that on Sunday after the Misery game, Bo's conversation went something like this. Bo: Wats, fix the f*(&&(* offense! We couldn't stop a group of 3rd graders, and I need more time to fix this f*&%$& defense! You have better players than I do, use them! Wats: YES SIR! Wats spent the next 24 hours figuring out WTF to do, and he got it right. BTW, Wats admitted he didn't call a very good 3rd qtr. Kudos to him for taking the heat. I think it was a combo of that and the offense coming out flat after KILLING ISU in the first half. If Wats keeps this up, I will certainly be one happy dude!
  8. I want OU and TX to rematch in the Nat'l Champ. Game. Payback for 1978! OU gets beat twice! Heh!
  9. What did Joey say at the end of the interview that she laughed at? The stupid fone rang, and I missed it!
  10. I agree, Michael. I hate the WCO but last week with some zone read sprinkled in, it was good. NU needs to have a multiple offense if it wants to win. What we saw last week was more multiple. I hope NU gets the rushing game going this week. ISU's strength is the DE position. If NU can keep those guys guessing, then the offense will look great again.
  11. Bill Callahan effectively killed the walk-on program. Sure, he had a few, but he didn't want to deal with large numbers (although it isn't like anyone beyond the second team got any practice time anyway...heck, they had water fights they were so bored in practice!) Bo is bringing it back, although I don't know if it'll ever be what it once was...
  12. Ganz got into a rhythm late in the game? Apparently this guy didn't watch the NU-TT game...
  13. Oh, c'mon guys, the whole thing was tongue-in-cheek! Cy is hilarious!
  14. Mack Brown doesn't have to recruit. He has to decide which ones he doesn't want. All he has to do is open the door, and the great TX recruits come flooding in. Ok, maybe that's stretching it a little...but I think it is easier to recruit kids to to to UT than anyplace else in the Big 12 (even OU!).
  15. You're right, but they're still pretty solid. I think OU is pissed, b/c they let it slip away last week, a game they had control of. OU by 17
  16. You have to build from the ground up. That means starting with a solid foundation. Practicing well is a big part of that foundation. Now, if NU can start playing like they practice...it could be a great 2nd half of the season!
  17. Naw, you haven't been paying attention. Punctuation and/or capitalization doesn't bother me at all. It's the repeated spelling errors that drive me nuts and the incorrect useage of there/their, lose/loose and losing/loosing (among others). Everyone can typo, it's the repeated ones that drive me crazy. Especially when someone lays down smack and can't even spell it right! BTW- it's not puctuation it's punctuation. THANK YOU!!! From a former language arts teacher, THANK YOU!!! Words are power, fellas. Correct spelling makes you look like you know what you're talking about. It's hard to take someone seriously when they can't spell...
  18. J. Bullocks, Seppo, Pilkington, Carriker, Fluellen, Herian, Mann, Todd, Shanle, Austin, Brothers, Byford, Dailey, DeLone, Green, McKeon, Patrick, Phillips, Brandenburgh, Christensen, Ganz, Huff, B. Jackson, Nunn, Panico, Sievers, Steinkuhler, Swift, C. Thomas, Congdon, Cryer, Glenn, Hickman, Z. Taylor, Tiedke, T. Peterson, Turner, Wilson, Slauson, Culburt, Holt, M. Smith, C. Young, Blue, Titchner, Henery, and Kunalic. What do these guys have in common? They were all rated 3 Stars or less by Rivals and saw action under Billy C. and the boys. Nice list. I'll just name 2. Marlon Lucky over Brandon Jackson for quite a while. Sam Keller over Joey Ganz. I don't know about Sam's stars, but I think we all know who the better player is/was. I think you know what I meant by my statement, but thanks for standing up for one of the worst coaches in NU history!
