I'm not surprised to see Pelini getting bashed... It's what the media used to do to Osborne... We got the guys to fit in OUR system, not anyone else's. Looks to me like we got quite a few studs, too... Pelini likes to develop players his way, and not take the ones who are done, or act like they don't need coaching... How many 5-star classes did Osborne have? Not too many. He wanted tough, athletic players with heart.

Definitely the CU game from this year... I soiled myself high-fiving my Dad after the greatest field goal in Husker history.... Also, the 1997 Big 12 Championship vs. Texas A&M.... Any game where your quarterback de-cleats more people than your linebackers needs to be on a highlight reel...

My Dad and I met his father in LA at the USC game a couple years ago... he had a pretty good attitude about the whole thing, even back then.

The Angels "believed" in the Rally Monkey, their new mascot... The reason for the mascot is because they came from behind to beat almost everyone.... I've been going to Angel games for a long time, and fans have always packed the stadium... They aren't just a team that all of a sudden fans appeared because they are good now.... In SoCal, you're either a Dodger or an Angel.... just to clarify your rant.

How much more knowledge of Bo's defense do the other LB's have over Glenn? This is a new system, is it not? Not to mention the fact that our current LB corps doesn't have enough minutes of experience to add up to one game... I welcome his talent.

The majority of people on this board fall into two categories: Die-Hard fans, and haters. -Who cares if everyone is fanatical and follows every "Ganz" or "Swift" even if they are mediocre compared to the more highly touted players? That's what good fans do... Those are our heroes, our Huskers. -As for the need to let more talented players step up, well here's their chance. They have a clean slate and two fairly open-minded coaches to win the position battles. -Besides, I'll take 1,000,000 ignorant fans that bleed Red, and live or die with every win over anything else. I could sit on this board all day long and Monday morning QB every stupid thing Husker football has done wrong in my short life, but I'd rather just see what happens on any given Saturday... And if it's a loss, God forbid, I will be on here aftward screaming/complaining with all the other million perfectionist Bugeaters, desperately trying to get my panties untangled from my undercarriage.... The very next day, we'll be here talking about how some "1 star" player from North Platte High is going to lead us to victory over sCUm...

Erstad is a heck of a baseball player, probably one of the best... The only reason he's not doing so well now is due to injuries from selling out to catch and hit every ball... that guy has more heart than anyone else in baseball.

The spread is an offense you can adapt to the players. Even though I like Bo and Gill, I think Kelly and a young, crazy DC would be a better fit.

How many people can say they de-cleated Dat Nyguen... he was probably the scariest running QB we've had, as far as pure strength and power go... Not to mention he gave Dr. Tom and Husker Nation a Championship...
