    LSU beat the No. 2, 6, 7, 18 & 23 teams (final AP). Only one game was at home. One of the best regular seasons EVER. -- @wilnerhotline

      1971 Nebraska beat No. 2,3,4 by an average of 20 pts. 1995 Nebraska beat No. 2,5,7,9 by an average of 30.7 pts. So far 2011 LSU has beaten No. 2,6,7,18,23 by an average of 19.7 pts.

      Matt Hayes of Sporting News says if there was one job that could pull Chris Petersen away from Boise State, it's Texas. Which wouldn't surprise me since Petersen's longtime former OC/QB coach, Bryan Harsin is now OC at Texas.

Several sports writers on Twitter are hearing that UCLA is throwing everything at Chris Petersen and he just might accept it.     Minus the Texas debacle last year, we played better in 2:30 time slot when we beat 2 ranked teams back-to-back in Mizzou & Okie State. We lost to a hot streaking A&M team and imploded against OU in night games. A 2:30 MSU game probably works best for us next weekend.

      They dedicated a whole episode to Nebraska football when Penny (Kaley's character) threw a Husker Gameday football party at her apartment. The whole party was decked out in Husker gear.

      Not sure why he was wearing it, but last week a few NU football players tweeted that they saw Wiz with his entourage roaming around the mall in Lincoln. Apparently his old cell phone crapped out on him and he was getting a replacement phone. My guess is he also bought that hat at the mall.
