So I've taken my car to the mechanic every September for six years in a row now. Every time I take it in for the same issue. I pay the mechanic, but every time I drive it away from the shop, the same problem is still there.

  No, no. I'm in the wrong. I should give my mechanic time to figure out how to fix vehicles. I'll be patient, and pay him every year to fix the same things over and over in hopes that he someday learns how to fix it. That's how a mechanic works right? My only worry is, he'll fix that recurring problem, then something else will go wrong. My mechanic, he's a master of excuses.
