  1. Want him, looks like he has great body control and great speed. Too bad he's probably going to stay in SEC country.
  2. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's going to end up being a Tiger.
  3. I don't think it's going to be changed much. Nebraska recruits more nationally than anything. We might lose some Texas recruits, but then we might be able to land some comparable guys from the Big 10 or Florida.
  4. Really knows how to find the back of the end zone. I think that was the only type of play they had.
  5. It's been said, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Frost come home in the near future (though probably only as a position coach with the outside possibility of being the OC). Other people I don't know about, but I think if Pelini leaves within the next 5 years (don't think it's going to happen but it could), then I think we stay in staff.
  6. It's a good idea, especially if they're able to wrestle a contract from NBC, the only major network that doesn't have a viewing contract with a BCS conference (only ND). Now if this is going to be a network similar to the one that the Big 10 has set up, then the biggest obstacle would be Texas. Just how much do they want in revenue sharing and things like that.
  7. His better numbers also came when Alabama had packed things in and were coasting through the 3rd quarter and part of the 4th. Then when they got within a touchdown or something, when Alabama switched on again, he had 2 or 3 ints. It's really hard to see what he's going to do for his first true road game, especially if its a night game.
  8. Slippery kid, very rarely did you see him go down on first contact, though I'm going to account part of the reason to it being his highlight reel. Considering his size, it's still impressive that he has enough plays like that to fill a 9 minute move. I would have liked to see more returns, seeing as pretty much everyone who's offering him is looking to put him as a returner. Showed really good burst and quick initial step. Definitely a burner. I'm not the first, and I'm definitely not going to be the last to say I want him to come to Nebraska.
  9. We don't even know how bad the brawl was, just the fact that he got arrested for being in it. While Goodell has been harsh on rule breakers, it's usually on their second offenses that he comes down hard. Just look at Roethlisberger, after his first assault all he got was a slap on the wrist, if that. Sure you can't compare Ben and Mo, but he's the only guy I can think about.
  10. This is his first offense (at least I think) so he's probably only going to get hit with a small fine. Nothing to big, you know like forcing yourself on a drunk girl in a bathroom.
  11. Think I'd prefer to watch ESPNs 30 for 30. It's about the South African Rugby team that the movie Invictus was based off of. I think they might've gotten Freeman to narrate. Should be pretty awesome. I'm pretty sure that the wrap-up won't have anything we don't already know, and it's probably only going to go over what the depth chart might look like and the expectations for the summer and next season.
  12. Think this kid could put on 20 lbs? He certainly has the body (just looking at his measureables) to step in and play at the Peso position. But since he's barely shown interest I'm guessing he's not coming here.
  13. He's making sure that he has all the information he needs to make the best choice for himself and his wants/needs. I have no problems with that, he doesn't need to commit right this second. And besides isn't that what Bo has been preaching to every single recruit he's talked to? Don't go with a gut reaction, get all the information you can and then make the decision.
  14. I'm definitely not going to fault him for going to Notre Dame, it's his life and at the time Notre Dame was in a better place than Nebraska. But I have no clue if he's still at Notre Dame. I'm guessing he is because wasn't he one of their better O-Linemen and at least a starter?
  15. Brooks didn't get a real shot this year because before our offense really went to the crapper, the WRs ahead of him on the depth chart were still playing at an adequate level. Then when he started to look like he was going to break out (5 for 70 against TTech), he got hurt and couldn't come back until after the offense went very vanilla and Kinnie started stepping up.
  16. I'm watching College Football Live and they're doing a piece on Notre Dame (their spring game was last Saturday I think). But it got me thinking, how did we lose Trevor Robinson, the OL out of Elkhorn?
  17. I'm calling if we move conferences our schedule's going to change for the 2015 year, unless the Big XII let's us break away right away.
  18. Then he decided to retract his retire comment and say that he's still looking into his options. Of course the bad thing is the Vikings are relying on a 41 year old man who they don't know is coming back (though I'm 100% betting they knew of the possibility of him having ankle surgery). But how bout that Suh?
  19. I guess you missed it but it was announced that Favre was going to hang it up. The ankle just isn't working for him.
  20. You can teach kids how to catch. If his measurables are somewhat correct, let's just get him here and sort things out later. But with that size and speed I think we should put him at WR first and go from there. Tell him to keep putting some meat on his bones so he's around 225-230 pds by the end of his second year. If there's no improvement from him at WR, or there is a shortage at DE but not WR depth, move him to defense.
  21. Lane might be a used car salesmen, but some of you might be forgetting that it's Monte that runs the defense. A legend that has a defense he created (at least I think so) still in use by a number of NFL teams.
  22. Well if he's tired of being known as his cousin's cousin, he's could be the only Grimble at Nebraska.
