  1. You're not the only one who noticed the idiocy in that post. From earlier: Really? I could've sworn we were coming off back to back 10 win seasons.... Really? I could've sworn we were coming off back to back 10 win seasons....
  2. I still think Jamal Lord had one of the nastiest stiff arms... Of course they also drew some flags as I recall. Yeah I was just about to say I recall a Lord TD being called back because of a facemask. The only offensive facemask (on a runner) that I've seen to this day.
  3. Really? I could've sworn we were coming off back to back 10 win seasons.... Really? I could've sworn we were coming off back to back 10 win seasons....
  4. The fact that the thread is titled "all right girls" instead of "Alright, Girls" is a sure sign of that.
  5. Where does "hugh" fall on the scale of bigness?
  6. WE are not the team, we are fans. We have nothing to do how the team will play against Wyoming, we are just talking about a big game, let the coaches worry about keeping the PLAYERS focused....its a message board, to talk football, not a big deal. Don't be that guy.
  7. If that picture is of a real helmet model, then why does it look like it's in someones bedroom? That's been my question. Looks to me like the equipment guys having a little fun.
  8. They probably don't remove it because it looks better that way. Why would we have pants that don't have red on them? Having black between the white stripes would just look wierd, but if you are ripping on them for not knowing how to remove it (which I bet you they do), then maybe you should do it yourself. I'm not saying they don't know how to. I appreciate the work they've put it, but I'm just stating that I don't much care for the 3 colored look.
  9. Seriously, doesn't anyone know how to remove the red from inside the stripes?
  10. Good thing they don't play in the Big 12/11/10 North. Imagine that kind of competition every week.
  11. How about this: If Iowa wins, they don't get this
  12. Nebraska 34 Wisconsin 33 wait for it.....in OT. That's right, win on a blocked extra point. Passing 174 Rushing 213 If I get this right, down to the extra point, a suitable prize would be the title of "Supreme Ruler" of the board.
  13. To be honest I don't get what everyone was freaking out about with Washington. They were never in that game. 38 looks bad, but at the end of the day that was a dominant game against a pretty good offense.
  14. Look how easy their schedule is. That's the reason he picked them. He could end up being right(I just threw up in my mouth a little). We play eight of the eleven toughest teams in the Big Ten over the past five years. That whole math thing is lost on the Big Ten isn't it?
  15. 1. The defense this year has yet to play with all of its starters, so it is still a bit premature to make judgements like that. 2. Wisconsin's offense isn't good enough to carry '08 Missouri's pads.
  16. fixed it for ya Such a helpful community around here. Good save, sir!
  17. I play NCAA 2011 on X-box and I am as a career 34wins-47loss. My defense won most of the 34 games. I would consider myself a defensive specialist. I think we have a new favorite.
  18. I hope this was a joke. You want to bet on that? 31-3? Quite possibly one of the most ludicrous things I've ever heard. It could happen, but to predict a score like that 6 days out is idiotic.
  19. My question is who are the 33 that don't think we'll see them again? Really who is going to take our division, if not us?
  20. Yeah...but Mizzou sucks and is always over rated and their coaching is at best slightly above average. Wisconsin is a different breed. I don't see how it's different. We weren't expected to beat Mizzou last year and we did. The only difference this year is that we are on the road. The negative-thinking members of this board seem to forget or discredit the past easily (except when it helps their argument) and assure us that "this time is different." How is Wisconsin a different breed than any other top ten team we've faced in recent years? If anything, I'd say they are overrated and more vulnerable than Mizzou, as we are not deep into the schedule and they haven't proven anything the way Mizzou had last year, coming off beating an undefeated and #1 ranked Oklahoma.
  21. It's still early so the numbers aren't that compelling yet, but according to Sagarin we've played the 69th toughest schedule so far, while Wisconsin's SOS is 148. Last time I checked, there were 120 D1-A teams, so, for what it's worth, there is an ENTIRE DIVISION of college football that has played a tougher schedule than them. Actually, not really. Some IAA teams are ranked higher than IA teams. So, this prompted me to sort Sagarin's schedule ranking just by IA teams, and you weren't far off with your statement -- Wisconsin has played the 113th weakest schedule out of 120 D1 teams. Purdue has played the weakest. FTR, Nebraska listed as 62nd of 120. I meant simply by the numbers, 148 being more than 120, but I figured it wouldn't be far off.
