I think so to. It will be interesting to see what the coaches do when Taylor is healed up enough to play again. This is Sdsu. That is silly talk. They are a good team but they are not a dominant defense like ndsu. Kellog looks like a stud against the jackrabbits. It may be South Dakota State but you can't deny the way that Armstrong runs, and his threat of the passing game. He actually has touch on the ball, unlike Taylor who tries to throw as hard as possible.

A stadium full of fair weather fans doesn't sell out every game since the Kennedy administration. Hearing that recording was heart breaking, gut wrenching, whatever you wanna call it. I have supported Bo this whole time, but after hearing that I am done. You simply can not say what he said when you are the head football coach of Nebraska or any major university.

You can blame Beck for what I believe was his worst games as a playcaller. You can't be scared to run the ball even if they have guys close to the line, you have big ol Imani Cross in that backfield looking to power through some Bruin defenders. Now I agree with the OP, if Taylor is wearing a boot he is clearly hurt. Let him rest his injury, and let RKIII or Tommy start the game. They don't need to be special we have plenty of other playmakers on this team. He had a bad game. To sit here and say Taylor played well just because you saw some numbers is just not telling the whole story. You state how well taylor played then you say we should have run the ball more in the bect sentence. I'd say that's pretty telling. I didn't mean for it to sound like I thought Taylor had a great game by any means, but I don't think he had a bad game. Especially not bad enough to be blamed for the loss. Cross had 3 carries the whole game...averaging 6 yards a carry. Take away Taylor's sacks and we were averaging over 4 yards a carry. 4 yards per play gets you a first down, and when you have a lead after half time all you need to do is get first downs and milk that clock. But Beck tried to be smarter than everyone in the stadium by not sticking with what worked, and comes out looking like a fool. If he had just stuck with the runs up the gut with Cross, and the play action pass downfield we would've had a lot more success on offense. I wouldn't go as far as to say we would've won because we all know...our defense was atrocious in that 2nd half.

It's kinda why I posted it. I've been on this board since I started dating my wife the Husker. NU is my B1G team. (I was afraid she was going to make me walk home from College Station after the 2010 A&M-NU game....I'm not entirely sure that changing conferences didn't save our marriage ) I love this board 99% of the time, but I know the Manziel thing is polarizing, but I have to defend him. I think Wisconsin gets a wake up call and gets beat by Arizona State, and Washington beats Illinois. Nebraska keeps the alternative uniform streak alive extending it to 2 games, and folks...Ohio State is not as good as everyone out there thinks. Only beat Cal by 7 points last year, I think this will be a one possession game again this year.

Man I certainly hope not. QB competition in games hasn't worked out in recent years.... example: USC this year, Texas, Notre Dame a couple years ago, Michigan State, Zac Lee and Cody Green
