  1. I hate to agree with any ThugU mentality, but I have to. While I personally would not taunt on the way into the endzone, I don't discount the people who would. If you don't want me taunting, then man up and stop me from having the chance. It's football, not chess.
  2. One more thing to note on the effect Todd has on Andrus' decision: Todd has not left home yet. Right now it may not seem to Andrus that not playing with Todd isn't a big deal. Once Todd leaves, Andrus will know what it's like without him around for a season. He may end up deciding that he's OK with that, or he may end up deciding that he wants to be back around big bro again. Also, once Todd is gone and they are talking, him relaying back his honest experience could have a positive/negative effect as well.
  3. I'm not so sure. If the offense is simplified away from the west coast principles that require the QB/WR to read the defense as the play goes on, then he might be OK. In other words, now they are responsible for running the route regardless of what the defense is doing, so it's just memorization of the plays/routes, as opposed to having to get the reps in to know how to read the defense.
  4. Science was retarded. Mine was all graphs and charts of scientific systems and questions about them. It seemed so easy and yet was my lowest or 2nd lowest score. Got a perfect 36 on English though! I wish I could will to to Braylon... 36 on English, huh? j/k
  5. omeone on the Rivals free board just hinted that our coaches hadn't talked to him in over a month??? I wonder if that's true, and if so, is it because we stopped, or he doesn't answer.
  6. Don't forget Henery. And, if you "combine" Adi and Alex since they split duties, I'd take that combo over any kicker in the NFL right now.
  7. I need a PM guys. My satellite doesn't carry the game.
  8. He has said this from the beginning, it's nothing new. We do enough out of both sets that it isn't going to be a turn-off.
  9. Ke$ha is a Husker fan?
  10. Probably easier to put together a list of our major prospects who aren't coming
  11. Thoughts I have to contribute. #1 - I think Lee will start game one. He will have the chance to solidify that in the first three games if he struggles a lot and we lose to UW, we may see a change in starter. #2 - While Lee is a servicable runner (as evidenced by the AZ game), he is always at risk of getting hurt when he does. Once they used live tackling in practice before the bowls, he ran with more authority and made decent decisions doing it, but he always runs "straight up" until the moment of impact, and always gets laid out because of it. He's a tough kid and bounces right back up, but being tough doesn't prevent injuries. He worries me in that regard. He needs to learn to be tackled safely.
  12. They need to set these guys up in the following order: Sterup, Klatchko, Reeves, Hobbi, Moore. With Turner and Green right behind them. Get them used to the formation....
  13. Touche, I forgot reading about that. Wonder if Klatchko does? ARod didn't if IIRC.
  14. Another thing I've noticed with a lot of our Oline guys is that they play basketball too. Sterup, Qvale, Sirles all are/were pretty good basketball players at their HS. They aren't just big behemoths that can't move, they are agile and have staying power enough to get up and down the court. I like that trend. Moore looks like he could play ball too. Reeves might be a little short though lol. Not too many 280 pound SFs in HS.
  15. Don't leave out Sirles either. He will be in the two deep and see plenty of time this season as a RS FR. Sirles and Qvale are my two favorite OL. They fit the mold: Big, not overly handsome (don't wwant to use a derogatory term here, but you get what I'm getting at) and mean looking.
  16. it is my impression that we lost interest in sarao when he camped here. Wrong from what I hear. Supposedly if we could get him, we were done at LB. Sarao was #1 by far on their LB board. If his grades are good enough, he's at Stanford. If not, we were his backup. If we accept Santos, Sarao is admitted is the assumption as stated above.
  17. That's just wrong. Bite your tongue until you are ready to give a real update.
  18. Coach Sims has been very good to Nebraska. I though he tried to sway JPP our way on signing day, but I dont remember. I heard that too. Supposedly they had JPP pretty much lined him up to sign with us, then when he changed his mind, Sims was pissed because he was trying to set up the pipeline from FSCC to NU.
  19. Terrell Pryor is in college. If that's not enough to comfort you, go listen to his interview about Mick Vick and it will make the dumbest person you know seem like a Rhodes Scholar TP was just telling it like it is. Like you don't kill people?! Not saying I don't, or that he was wrong lol He just didn't express it very eloquently.

  21. I wonder if Harvey Jackson or Corey Cooper will eventually end up in this role as well. Both are 6'2, Cooper is 023 according to Rivals and Jackson is 185. Cooper seems to be more of a true safety, so of the two if either does this I'd say it looks like Jackson might. There was some talk of him being a DB/LB hybrid during his recruitment. Basically, is this a permanant move as long as the spread is around, or is it because we have the athletes this season, and once we don't, we'll move back to 4-3?
  22. Like last season? When there were 5? If this happens, I'd think Nebraska vs. Bama happened. Bama would be guaranteed, no one is going to vote them out as returning champs. It's be us vs. OSU, and I think with the BIG XII teams we play, and the Championship still freshi in the minds of the press, we'd be ahead at the end. Boise would be close, you with three traditional national powers, they won't jump two of them. A team like Cincy last year maybe, but not the historys that NU, Bama, and OSU possess.
  23. Ankrah - Got a lot of press about how he should have played last year, but they wanted to keep his redshirt intact Moore/Steinkuhler - One of these guys needs to step up big to fill the gaping hole, preferably both. Have only heard great things about them, now let's see it. Paul/Kinnie/Gilleylen - We need targets, two of them need to become consistant Lee/Green - Take the reigns. If Lee was hurt, show what you are really capable of, Green, calm down and do what you are capable of. One of these guys needs to be ready for next season. The OL - if the returning starters aren't up to snuff, Coffey, Qvale, and Sirles are more than ready to take your spot. The OL is the one spot we have to be improved at, injuries or no injuries.
  24. Yea my cousin just took it, she's in 7th, just got a 23..... And if what someone said is true that the NCAA will take your best composites, that's even easier... I could of had a 35 if that was the case... The test isn't that hard. Hope he gets what he needs I'm guessing the English section kept you from a 36. I could have had I'm usually not on the grammar police, but if there was ever a time to correct someone on grammar it's when they are talking about how well they did on the ACT. +1. Simply brilliant post lol
