  1. No; neither Sony or Microsoft have made it backwards compatible with PS4 and Xbox One (and they won't, given the stink around how the series was ended).
  2. Both PS3 and Xbox 360. The original edits are done on a PS3, then converted to 360.
  3. Still playing NCAA 14. The roster updates I download are 90% done with Nebraska, so it's playable for me, anyways.
  4. Your argument shouldn't be "The PT movies are better/worst than most others". It should be "I LIKE the PT movies more than most". Which really doesn't make it an argument at all, more of a discussion. I mean, we all like movies that can be seen as sort-of crappy by the population at large.
  5. EDIT: this post is now about how Landlord's graph is 1% from being cross-posted to the Shed. EDIT 2: Nevermind, it's apparently already there!
  6. Prince Naseem Hamed is a name I haven't heard in a long time. He annoyed the crap out of me, but he was a damned good boxer.
  7. The initial discussion point was that the PT movies are better than most other movies out there. I provided evidence to show that critical and popular opinion, via one of the largest aggregation websites, disagrees with this.
  8. There's a litany of reasons why he might not have qualified, some of which could be out of the hands of someone like a HC or guidance councilor.
  9. If this is a placement at GCCC, it's a good one; it would be nice to have a pipeline to that program.
  10. There's a long time until it comes out, but it'll be interesting to see if JJ makes any course corrections to try and get the story back on the track he set in TFA, to correct the various derailments Rian Johnson made in TLJ.
  11. I will say this for the PT: if given the choice, I'd watch them again before TLJ.
  12. Those charging stands I listed are to play in tabletop mode; they're much sturdier than the kickstand that comes on the back of the unit itself.
  13. The joycons themselves are small, but you get a controller shell that they slide into. The Pro controller has gotten great reviews; I've held off on buying one thus far, but will probably pick one up soon. There are also cheaper, corded variants that have gotten decent reviews, too. You might want to look into a charging stand, as well as a glass protector for the screen. https://www.amazon.com/amFilm-Tempered-Screen-Protector-Nintendo-Switch/dp/B01N3ASPNV/ref=zg_bs_16227129011_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PMV45Y56F630ZZ44NKK0 https://www.amazon.com/Compact-Playstand-Nintendo-Switch-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01N9RTMWS/ref=zg_bs_16227129011_16?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=PMV45Y56F630ZZ44NKK0&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Switch-Adjustable-Charging-Stand/dp/B07D12JGBB/ref=zg_bs_16227129011_35?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PMV45Y56F630ZZ44NKK0
  14. Sad to say, but I'm probably going to skip this one, at least until it makes its way to Netflix (or Disney's streaming service).
  15. Had George not aimed RotJ at kids and the toy market, Endor would have been a planet of Wookies and not Ewoks, but Han would have died in Carbonite.
  16. If you take an average of critic and audience scores from RT, the PT still has the lowest scores from any era of Star Wars: A New Hope: 94.5% Empire Strikes Back: 96% Return of the Jedi: 87% Phantom Menace: 57% Attack of the Clones: 61% Revenge of the Sith: 72% The Force Awakens: 90% Rogue One: 86% The Last Jedi: 68.5% Solo: 67% Given this, I would be hard pressed to say that the PT are "still better than most movies", even though they do contain some great-to-excellent set pieces (Podracing, Qui-Gon/Obi Wan vs. Darth Maul, Obi Wan vs. Anakin) and great performances (Ewan McGregor's performance as Obi Wan is possibly the best in the entire series), but when you put them up against the other films in the series, let alone in the genre, they don't hold up.
