  1. Thomas sticks with Nebraska

    1. TonyStalloni
    2. NUance

      NUance

Thomas x2. Got both of them.

    3. Hoosker
  2. It's pretty difficult for an athlete to not get into UNL. They would have to be pretty below average in intelligence or incredibly lazy.
  3. It's not what he's done, it's how he's gone about doing it.
  4. DeVos passed the committee by a vote of 12-11. If she gets confirmed, public education is in serious, serious trouble.
  5. Yes. Just to throw this out there. Keyshawn, who committed a long time ago and never wavered, many a time took down his Nebraska twitter banner stuff. Every time it happened, Husker fans freaked out at him on twitter and he tweeted out, you guys are crazy, I'm not going anywhere else. Sometimes the Twitter stuff is significant, sometimes it's nothing. I guess we will find out tomorrow The one thing different here is KJJ never gave the perception nor had any kind of history with flipping etc. I really feel that Jamire is doing it for attention. I mean he said he committed to OSU to see how Nebraska would react and if they would show him love still. That was brandon Reilly who said that. There is no proof and we shouldn't hold him to those rumors. I'm just astonished on how quickly people want to tear a kid down. Since when does setting realistic expectations = tearing a kid down?
  6. I get that many posters thinks he could end up being similiar to Grim, but what exactly are we able to do about it? The only thing we could do about it, is just pull his offer now... We've gotta decide if we want this kid or not. If we do, we are at his mercy as far as being a "Grim situation." So if we take him, we may as well drop the whole Grim shtick. There's absolutely no harm in calling a spade a spade. Kid has been awfully flaky, and it wouldn't surprise me (or a lot of people) if he's not here in 6 months to a year. I hope he sticks; he's got a lot a talent. Just be prepared if he decides Nebraska isn't for him in the future. Hey man, I'm guilty. A few weeks ago before the AA decision. I called this kid genuine and thoughtful and respectful to the recruiting process. Didn't commit to Nebraska in April, because he wanted to make sure he chose the right school. I thought that meant once he chose a school, it was going to be done and over with. I was wrong about him and that. I hope he is done now. But, if he signs I'm not going to label him as someone who is going to leave for the next 4 years. I'm hoping he'll stick for 3-4 years. I'm not going to hold my breath on him, though.
  7. Some random dude from Ohio isn't a barometer for the country. CARL! Point: conceded.
  8. Raridon over Decker, huh? That's interesting. I know they are really high on Raridon, but wasn't Decker getting a lot of praise too for his work at Center (Was it VV or Collins that paid him a compliment)? That must've been his RS year, because he didn't get any praise last year. MR actually called him out a couple times if I remember correctly. (not in a terrible way) Weren't there rumors he was thinking about giving up on football?

  11. Even if he signs, there should be a lookout; we could have a Grim situation on our hands.
  12. The case made here is not too far fetched, especially when one takes into account how many Federal vacancies and dismissals have occurred. And this, coupled with the theory that Trump is using this action as a way to find out who is loyal to the United States or the Trump Administration (with the explicit purpose of replacing the former with more of the latter) does not bode well for our country. Also, going back to the 'golden showers' dossier... Yeah...interesting indeed. It's amazing how the pro-Trump folks seem to have scurried away from the light of this and other threads as of late. :-| What's the point in even commenting at this point? There's no way folks are really going to listen to anything. Everyone is so worked up it's just not worth it to me. I'd love to listen to someone explain their support for an administration that thinks putting 5 year olds in handcuffs at the airport is a good idea. See..........it's assumed I'm okay with that, even though I never said that at any point, just because I voted for Trump. #assumptions I'm sorry, but you sanctioned this. Thanks for blaming me personally for this, apparently you didn't read Zoogs post that was around the same time as yours? You don't get to blame ME personally for some of these decisions. I don't really care if you agree with that or not. To me you are personally trying to attack me and I'm simply not going to put up with that sh#t. Period........mod status be dammed. If you feel like I am attacking you, then that is your own prerogative. However, it was known that Trump would attempt to take this sort of action throughout his entire campaign. You chose to vote for him, thereby sanctioning these actions.

  14. Cut bait and give the scholly to a walk-on.
  15. As for predictions, I'm saying Blades and Daniels for certain. Then a surprise from either Onyemaobi or Verdell. Lenoir is a llllooonnnggg shot, as is Johnson.
  16. Had Riley hired Orgeron instead of Banker, we would have been filling the D-coordinator spot last year after O would've left for greener pastures. Sorry, he does not fit with the ethics & morals that is expected at UNL. This is why Bo was shown the door. Not really. Orgeron has been angling for an HC job for years now. He just got his dream job.
  17. There's not a lot to go off of on Twitter. What smoke is coming from Lincoln? Benning mentioned a little bit on 1620 this morning, but didn't elaborate.
  18. and that's on a second year lineman coach??? Yes. That's what he is getting paid for.So you are a chef at a restaurant. You are a very good italian chef. However you have to use all the ingredients that were left by the former chef. He just happened to cook mexican cuisine. Your food taste like crap. Where is the problem? Lol, bad ingredients. Other than one spice (Gates) that was versatile enough to be in both style of foods. Are we talking like, some nice garlic salt? Coriander? What are we working with, here?
  19. He's slow, but my goodness is he a large man. Lots of potential here for a great edge blocker and mid-level receiver. Great pickup.
  20. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER CROOT

  21. Flip Lenoir and Blades, and I can live with this.
  22. We have KJJ and 2 6'7 TE's. We are looking for 1 more big bodied WR, but you absolutely want all the speed and playmakers on the field that you can get. I dont care what size these guys are they are electric with the football in their hands and they can play multiple positions. McQuitty is 6-1 with room to grow, too.
