  1. Yeah he is a weird one. At the end of the latest tape he actually asked her "you think I'm racist don't you?" Like he doesn't even see himself as one.
  2. Well put knapplc. The idea of wanting the Pelini that goes after the ref's which is what I was referring to doesn't seem like the Bo I'd like to have on the sidelines. At least not to the point of getting unsportsmanlike penalties or an A & M like total meltdown. If he can quit acting like a horses you know what this year and not cross the line then I for one would actually be a lot less hard on the guy. It might not bother others at all and that's fine. In a way it probably wouldn't me either. I love a coach with some fire but there's going too far. You can't take those times back. They're burned in people's memory a long with the embarrassing blow out losses.
  3. I didn't think either of them were bad actors necessarily but the scenes and dialogue depicting their love story were most of the time cringeworthy to say the least.
  4. So he can embarrass himself and us even more? Not to mention getting $10,000 fines like he did at Iowa last year for his post game comments and the hat swing that almost hit the ref. No thanks.
  5. Haha exactly. Yoda using a light saber isn't even on the radar when I think of things I may not have liked about the prequels. Less Jar, Jar, a lot less of the love story between young Vader and Padme and some other dialogue edits and the killing off of Darth Maul way too soon for me anyway they're not nearly as bad as a lot of people think imo.
  6. Players want Sterling punished. http://espn.go.com/l...donald-sterling
  7. They said that tornado was a mile wide. I hate tornado season.
  8. I'm probably one of the few not excited about JJ Abrams directing this. Not having Lucas's hands on this is going to be strange whether you liked the sequels or not. All of his movies definitely had his distinct finger print on them. I'm not even excited like I feel like I should be about these 'new' series of movies and I am a life long Star Wars fan.
  9. Wistrom is spot on. The entire culture has changed but for me you don't have to look any further than the head coach and his staff. He's the captain of this ship right now. One that struggles to stay afloat. The Huskers have struggled just be ranked at season's end for years now. You can x and o things to death but you have to know how to groom your team into winners too. I know, I know. It's a process.
  10. BIG TEN STANDINGS 1. Wisconsin – Everyone but Ben Brust is back from the Final Four team. 2. Nebraska – Terran Petteway and a healthy Shavon Shields form a fantastic 1-2 punch. 3. Michigan State – Speaking of 1-2 punches, Branden Dawson and Denzel Valentine will be nice. 4. Michigan – Prediction: Zak Irvin or Derrick Walton Jr. will be the most improved player. 5. Ohio State – No team welcomes a better or deeper recruiting class. 6. Illinois – This should be John Groce’s best Illini squad. 7. Maryland – The Terps return four double-digit scorers, including former Wolverine Evan Smotrycz. 8. Iowa – It’s Aaron White’s team, and now he needs to become more assertive. 9. Minnesota – The reigning NIT champs lose Austin Hollins, but should have a healthy Andre Hollins. 10. Indiana – The Hoosiers desperately need someone to emerge in the frontcourt. 11. Purdue – Matt Painter should have a team that better fits his style. 12. Northwestern – Can JerShon Cobb finally stay healthy and give Northwestern a full season? 13. Penn State – Brandon Taylor needs to make a huge leap to keep this team out of the cellar. 14. Rutgers – To put it politely, the Scarlet Knights have work to do on defense ALL-BIG TEN TEAMS FIRST TEAM Yogi Ferrell, Indiana Terran Petteway, Nebraska Caris LeVert, Michigan Denzel Valentine, Michigan State Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin SECOND TEAM D.J. Newbill, Penn State James Blackmon, Indiana Sam Dekker, Wisconsin Branden Dawson, Michigan State Aaron White, Iowa THIRD TEAM Derrick Walton Jr., Michigan Rayvonte Rice, Illinois Dez Wells, Maryland Shavon Shields, Nebraska Nigel Hayes, Wisconsin http://btn.com/2014/...-2014-15-hoops/
  11. I guessed the song after three strums of the guitar...Whad I win? A toaster with flames down the sides. Yeah I recognized those opening notes as well. Pretty amazing version.
  12. Will Shields the forgotten man. 14 years in the NFL all with Kansas City where he never missed a game in fourteen seasons. He went to the Pro Bowl every year from 1995 to 2006. Was selected as a first-ballot finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. Won the Outland Trophy in 1992, one of 8 Huskers to do so. Is one of only six Husker linemen to earn all conference honors for three straight seasons and was a first team All American his Senior season. Shields' No. 75 was retired at the Nebraska 1994 Spring Game. Was the only Husker along with Dave Rimington to earn all-conference honors as a sophomore. Also his son Shavon is currently a key member of the Nebraska basketball team! BOOM!!!
  13. No. It's going to be a good game. Prime time makes it so much more kick a$$ too. My reaction:
