We all would love information about what these kids are thinking, but I dont think we should appear this desperate. Agreed. I know the excitement level is growing, but fbook stalking is creepy, esp on 18y.o. kids. I mean, even sometimes on here I feel like I know too much about these guys, but atleast its a site for husker related news. Plus, im not likely to find out their status on what they are doing after school today as well as their favorite movies. . . Ah... Any kid that visit's UNL as a Junior, pays his way to the Big 12 Championship rooting against Texas when he is from Texas, and pays his way to Cali for our bowl game is definitely "N". Other than LSU, we are the only school that will take him seriously for QB. And it's absolutely apparent that he digs us. I expect to see him at the spring game along with Moore, Green, and Reeves. He's gonna see the caliber of team coming in around him and be "N" before fall season starts. Guarantee it!

Agreed. I think at this point Nebraska has as good of a shot as anyone. However, the results of the upcoming season quickly change that for better or for worse. I don't think that I'd even go so far as to call him a Nebraska lean at this point . . . he seems to be just keeping his options open. If Green goes to Texas then he is absolutely insane. Gilbert is a drop back passer. WIth the stacked WR Texas has coming in... the writing is on the wall. Their history shows favor to the pass game and absolute lack of development and lack of useage of a running game. So they say they will "improvise" their offense and add more run... PLEASE... If Aaron Green goes to Texas he is not going to be used... he will be wasted.

You know your coaching staff is doing something right when recruits go out on their own and pimp out a program, bringing in other recruits. Viral marketing is best. We all know this.

I could see that. I just hope he realizes that the bright side is more blinding than the waking dawn for a safety prospect in Bo's defense with what we're losing in the next couple years. Illinois Coach is on the hot seat. He's basically in Dan Hawkins position this year... if they suck he is out next year. I think Illinois is out. Arizona lost Mike Stoops. Cooper had a great relationship with Stoops, to the point that he almost threw Florida State into the mix when Stoops went there. I think Arizona is out. ND is only a couple of hours from his home. He has pictures of his ND visit and he is smiling and with friends through the whole thing. I imagine he knows a lot of people from his school who go there, to go there. I think ND is still in. It's a comfortable, safe decision for him in terms of distance and already knowing people. NU... he has his own photo album on his facebook page just for his NU visit. He didn't do that with any of the other schools. I think NU is still in. My guess... signing day he will either choose NU or ND.

and why hand out another grayshirt? Marsh gets one already, if we keep giving out next years scholies then I think that's stupid. If we have a top 10 year like experts are predicting, then we will have way more 4* and 5* recruits interested in NU. Why fill up next years spots with 2* players when, if we improve we will be able to fill up those spots with 4* players.

The 'eff' is Crabby smoking .. ? The program Ezell comes out of is playing programs like Poly, Mission Viejo, Edison, Los Alamitos, etc., Ezell is playing as legit of competition as you could possibly ask for. That is unless Crabby is saying his HS program is garbage, which makes no sense. It would seem to me then with what would be a lack of coaching for Ezell, his physical attributes coupled with his raw abilities and talent that he has flashed versus top competition would make him highly thought of. That just makes literally no sense to say that, if he did (I haven't heard the interview). Yeah... a listener called in and asked what Crabtree thought about all the rumors that NU had given a verbal offer to Ezell... Crabtree said he had heard those rumors but would basically be surprised if they were true. He said that the program Ezell is coming out of is not a premier program by any means. He said they playd Poly, which is a really good program, but that Ezell's school is not. He basically called the school an inner city school with crap football, in a round about way. He said if this is who Nebraska is looking at as a backup then it means we are desperate... unless Pelini thinks he can develop the raw potential in this kid.

Well Owa has been facebook friending all the NU commits. He's supposedly texted Eric Martin to let him know he is coming. There are 5x as many husker fans writing on his wall as their are fans from other schools. Crabtree think's he's in. Pretty much everyone has been predicting Nebraska... Oregon was the school the others were picking and it's out now. I'm PRETTY sure Owa is going to be N.

Just heard Crabtree's report on 1620 regarding this kid. He says the program Ruffin is coming out of is crap. He seemed shocked that NU would look at this kid concerning the program he is coming out of. He feels the kid has a lot of potential talent but Ruffin has the rating that he does for a reason. He said that he would be surprised if NU went after this kid.
