  1. He's been a major player in the BCS for quite sometime. Sad really. The good ol' boys need to just let it die, or get on with it's next evolution.
  2. Good old Michigan educational system...
  3. Good for him. IMO he was better than Robinson and it makes me wonder what your staff was thinking when they sent in that other QB? Yeah, we all were. Devin had been playing receiver all year and hadn't even been getting snaps at QB several weeks prior to the NU game. Turns out he is actually much better than Bellomy, who would've thought?! Coaching staff made a big mistake there. I'd rather see Devin improvise the playbook and lose than watch the disaster that Bellomy brought upon us. I actually thought we were in trouble when Robinson went down because I knew Gardner was a much better QB, but to my surprise Bellomy showed up and I was elated.
  4. Not too far west. I grew up in the large city of Lebanon, pop. 70. It still shows up on google maps . I can't imagine what Quincy would call that area. It's kind of like a Mad Max wasteland (without the freaky people) since you can drive as fast as you want. Right on man, I drive out to Cambridge a lot but I've never been that far south.
  5. We would of with Fisher if he chose to stay another year.
  6. He must of hated growing up in Holdredge. He describes it as a Midwestern wasteland. Ever been? I believe he's lowballin it a little! It's not that bad, basically the same as everyother town with a population of 5,000 something in Nebraska. Atleast that's what it looks like driving through. Now Atlanta the town just down the road... yeah that would be a more accurate describtion. I grew up further west of Holdredge so I would occasionally drive through it while going back and forth to Lincoln. I thought it looked like a nice town. Father of a guy I went to UNL with worked at BD. I remember asking him about the bethpage place. He said there were more retards in that place then my home town. That was before PC so nobody thought it was wrong to call retards, retards. How far west were you?
  7. The reason you don't stop is because that's probably the way accross town with the least traffic lights. I drive it everyday from 70th to Antelope prkway to get to campus. And I have to stop at 56th, 48th, 40th, usually 27th, and pre antelope prkway you had to stop at 17th. That's 5 out of 7 lights on the route, and the only reason you don't have to stop at South street is because it is the one and only light that is synced on the route. The other light at Lincoln High actually has a sensor so it only triggers when cars are there. Coming back is even worse because Antelope is all jacked up, you wait at lights that have zero cross traffic, and there are turn signals for oncoming traffic that you have to wait for even when no one is turning. Knapp is right the traffic design is horribly inefficient.

That's just a given at the top level of any form of racing, where they compete with each other week in and week out. Technically Jimmie is right, but it's not likely to have changed the outcome anyways. He should be more upset with Hamlin running him up the track every turn, that's what cos thim the win. 3 years ago I would have said you're right, but he did win the Brickyard. And as a former employee of menards I was disgusted! The kids are alright but that dad and his brother are scum.

  10. It's been almost 20 years since I lived in Lincoln and I don't get back often. Usually when I drive around an unfamiliar town I drive slower then the locals and take my time. The few times I've been in Lincoln recently I get impatient and want to drive faster then Lincolnites. It seems like the lights aren't timed correctly and the speed limits are too low and everyone is just driving slow. I remember thinking that Nebraskans have the patients of a saint. It's about half and half between people flying and just putting along any more. And as a bonus they've finally caught on and raised some of the speed limits to more appropriate speeds in some areas. Now if they could get a proper traffic manager and work on the lights.
  11. I'm sure LSU fans with their bipolarness would be glad to give him to you everyother week of the season.

Ha I don't hang with them it's a default thing if you now what I mean. I admit I'm probably a little snobby when it comes to motorsports though, I'd don't get into all the drama junk that the networks push.

I do enjoy Brad, he's a little immature at times but it's fun to watch. He's one of those cocky SOBs that can back it up, but he's got some crazy views of what's going on sometimes.

Oh people hate him alright, your stereotypical fan more than likely does. And most of the people I know that follow do hate him. Just another reason why I'm falling out of love with the sport.

If you're still talking about Edwards then... yeah I see it a little differently... He could be brought up on attempted manslaughter charges for what he did to Keselowski in the Nationwide series and he's a total tool. The guy's had some anger issues, he almost crushed Jr. hand after a race too when he side swipped his car and Jr. had his hand out the window. Drivers get hot, I get that, but you don't use your vehicle as a weapon. And I get the whole plugging sponsors thing (as much as I hate it) but the guy can't tell you how he feels or what happened after a race without having a 30 second commercail for all of his sponsor, it's rediculous. I hate sports figures for douchbaggery and sleazyness. That's why I don't like Bama, USC and the like, but I can respect the talent i.e. Kyle Bush. /end rant
  16. Look it up on Urban dictionary for a good dark comedy laugh, I'd link to it but it's probably not entirely appropriate.
  17. They must have changed it because the height is maxed out, and they've been putting in those middle panes for about the past 2 weeks.

This always baffles me, I can't believe how much people hate success in NASCAR. And people who like Gordon hating Johnson is hilarious, Jeff is the biggest reason Jimmie is even in NASCAR. Which makes me laugh even more when they get pissed at each other on the track.
  19. Well looks like he runs a lot like Rex did here, albeit against high school talent.
  20. He reminds me of Rex. Never saw his high school film but I would imagine it's similar. He's not a burner but he's shifty, hard to tackle, and strong. He's a little more than FB material.
  21. The color choices remind me of flavored tootsie rolls.
  22. He can know every passage in it, but its a shame he's so narrow minded to get consumed by the devil. Look at it this way, each and every day new technology is produced. Does technolgy get produced on an evolutionary basis because we have the need of new things? No, We attribute this technology to a creater, because obviously someone designed the technology. But for some reason people believe that a blind chance did a better job creating the unbelievable sophisticated human being. If evolution is a silly way to describe anything produced, than it is even sillier to say that evolution created a human being. Is that you're belief because if so, son you need to take a biology course or look at the world around you. We're no more sophisticated than any other animal out there and in fact we share quite a bit of our genetic code with some of them. If you do believe in a creator Isn't it a much more marvelous thing to believe that way came all the way from a single celled organism to what we are now? Evolution can happen, but it couldn't happen unless the conditions were perfect and allowed us to evolve. We could have evolved from nothing, but not without God creating an atmosphere and universe that would allow is to be created. The point of evolution is that the conditions never were perfect, hence the organsim evloved to adapt to it's environement.
