  1. This thread wins. The sadness that came over the Mizzou fans at the bar after the game was the best present I could have recieved this year. Now I would never rub a loss in someones face but to hear the excuses of why they lost was just as good.
  2. I like Al Borges. That's my vote and Im sticking to it.
  3. After hearing this I'm more than convinced Pryor is going to the draft.
  4. The Oklahoma game was the game that got under my skin from an offensive point of view. Dialing up passes when the run and wildcat were obviously working. If Wats could have dialed up just a couple run plays instead of those passes we win. Turnovers defiantly cost us, but some a lot of the plays especially in 2nd half definatly frustrated me. I'm looking forward to see how he uses the offensive playbook against UW. This should defiantly be a ground and pound game where the passes will eventually open up.
  5. Knapplc, you think they are going to move Kyler to WR like they did with McNeil. Similar body types both move well and both have good hands. IMO I think they should but was looking for some more input from others. As for Kenny, let's wait til we see him in action before deeming him the big home run threat we need. To many times have I been let down by receivers.
  6. I quit reading Forde a long time ago at least this time he has us winning.
  7. Had to vote for the Mizzou game, it shut a lot of my Mizzou fans up and Helu made his mark in the husker record books.
  8. Eh could be worse. At least I don't have to see Big XII North and South when looking at our conference therefore I am thankful.
  9. Kiper is a lot better than Mcshay. Just sayin'. Kiper's argument is that he doesn't know where to put him at. "The intrigue is in where, at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, does he project at the next level? He has safety size playing the middle linebacker position. Does he gain 10 pounds and project to outside linebacker? Do you convert him to safety? Those questions are still to be determined. What I do know at the present time is he possesses very good read-react ability. He has excellent speed to the football. He's extremely productive. And he can make big plays in a variety of ways."
  10. Scores for ACT usually take 3-4 weeks to process and send.
  11. " God I Love a good funeral."- Admiral Benson, Hot Shots!

  12. Bo has so much on his mind. The team, the jobs, and now especially that Pete 'Dead Meat' Thompson is dead. So is Mo Green, Tataglia, Barzini, the heads of all the five families. It is at moments like these, my dear friends, that we must ask ourselves: "How can this not be part of some larger plan?" Do good men like Dead Meat Thompson just blink out one day like a bad bulb? I mean, one minute you're in bed with a knockout gal... or guy, and the next, you're a compost heap. Doesn't that bother any of you? Because it scares the living piss outta me!
  13. This thread is laughable but I would love to see old Franky as OC, it's a better rumor option than half the people suggesting Josh McDaniels.
  14. I trully think the rumors are affecting us as a fanbase rather than the team. These rumors will be put to rest in the next couple of days. Bo will have the team on track and be ready to go for the Holiday Bowl. I feel your worries, but I feel as if we are making a big deal out of some Miami Newspaper trying to stir the pot.
  15. i've actually had to bring a doctors note to work for missing so many days of work that said 'despressed from reading huskerboard' if bo left... wow and to miami?? first off i dont think he would leave... he doesnt seem a miami type of guy and two where would we go? i know Barney Cotton for head coach! I know this program is on the up and so many times he says he's happy here. I don't think he will go, correction I know he won't, but that would devastate this program. If Bo left I would only believe Carl would go with him unless Osborne offers Carl the job, if that happens were back to step 1.
  16. Joined it. Do you guys just want to call me champ now or after?
  17. This is pretty much how I feel. Next year's schedule is just absolutely brutal. If we SOMEHOW end up running the table in conference, then just hand us the MNC right on the spot. I don't view the schedule for next year as a very nice welcoming gift to our new conference. I think of it as a blessing in disguise. Put us up against the top dogs in the conference, prove our mettle, show people what a good decision it was for us to be in this conference, and show people we are back. I am excited just thinking about it.
  18. Thanks Nexus, definitely a more fluid throwing motion then I remember. He seems to be able to zing the ball in there which is essential. I am pretty excited to see this guy play.
  19. I fail to see how Wisconsin is a guaranteed loss. I know people characterize Wisconsin as a pound-it-down-your-throat running team, but Scott Tolzien has really been the catalyst to making the offense great this year. He just won the Unitas Award and leads the country in completion percentage. Losing him will hurt no matter how you slice it. Camp Randall is one of the toughest places to play. The badgers are 32-4 in Camp Randall since they completed their stadium renovations to add seats, and make the visiting locker rooms a lot less opponent friendly. That plus three solid running backs lead me to believe the Huskers are going to have to play a perfect game to win there. Agreed Camp Randall is a hornet's nest. That atmosphere will be crazy especially if they hype it as "Nebraska's great defense vs The Explosive Badger offense." Hell, I'm even willing to bet this may be the location of College Gameday. Inconsistencies on offense is the only thing that has me worried about our schedule. Bo and Carl will have the defense performing that I am not worried about, however the offense stuttering like it did this year will kill us especially with this schedule. Saying that I am optimistic for a very strong season by the boys.
