  1. Should move us up to 5th in the B1G and 25th in the nation in overall class including transfers. What a huge jump we have made in a week. I think we were 60th overall and 10th in the B1G.
  2. They did show on SNF that he was like 120th out of 122 CBs according to PFF grade, but agreed either way even being the worst CB in the league means you are doing well.
  3. Oh yeah I could see that he def is getting some help at least because his tweets before he got hired were very ummm different.
  4. I have a strong feeling he is not running his own account. Which is a really smart idea. Whoever is running it has been doing great.
  5. If it is Daily we might have to wait till after panthers play bucs to really get eliminated. That division is one of the worst I can remember.
  6. Yeah I mean if people want proof it can happen just look at kstate. Klieman is a defensive coach who brought his fcs oline coach with him and took over a team without a single 4 or 5 star player. Early indications are that we hired a well organized adult to oversee the program and he has a track record for turning around programs.
  7. And now with all him and the other additions over the past week we have gone from 60th to 44th in overall class ranking on 247.
  8. Yeah it seems like it, but I watched a lot of Temple and Baylor and I have a hard time pinning down exactly what he wants to run on offense. I dont have a ton of technical knowledge though and its hard to see from just the broadcast view. I'm hoping to see a lot of pistol read option and RPO with some H back and then run a lot of PA off that. Definitely from the QBs we are going after it seems like at least for the next couple years he wants to use the QB as a running threat a lot.
  9. His star rating is the exact same as Adrian and Casey from last year and barely below Penix. He has a stronger arm and CT and AM, but he is definitely in that same range of QBs that you can win with but won't be superman and carry your team. If Rhule is a good coach he can win with QBs of that caliber. From what I saw of his Baylor teams he has won with worse QBs.
  10. Welcome to the board. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Im gonna have to call some BS on #4 though. I watched through a lot of his reps and yall ran him on QB power a pretty good amount and he lowered the shoulder on defenders quite a bit. I definitely agree with him locking on to receivers but I'd say its more rare to find college QBs that dont do that.
  11. He seems pretty open to run whatever offense and the rumor was recruits were saying we were gonna be more RPO based next year. From listening to Rhule talk and seeing the QBs we are targeting it def seems to me it will be heavy run focus including QB runs.
  12. Sims seems to have a decent arm and is big and fast. Could be solid in an RPO offense with a lot of QB run mixed in.
  13. I'm not a big supercar fan but one is for sure an Aston Martin and the other looks like a McLaren.
  14. Eagles also hired a HS coach and in under a decade he was HC and they won their first SB.
  15. Oh dang that's super close to me. I'm gonna go try it. Looks like it has good reviews especially for a place that serves unique food.
  16. Yeah sure Ed is a HoF player but Wald really was gonna be the hardest hitting safety in the history of NU. He was just gonna turn players into dust.
  17. What did they watch that made them put Card that high? I would for sure take at least Pyne and Sanders over him
  18. Come one man. Like I know he didnt come in and get 10 sacks, but he got after the passer this year and helped disrupt a lot of plays. If you actually didnt see him you didnt watch.
  19. Well Rhule combined with Cooper turned some 3 star DBs into NFL talent at Safety so hopefully they can do that again. And also yeah agreed that most teams in the B1G cant really exploit that. Even Michigan has been spotty at that. Sure they have done it a little this year but a couple games over the whole Harbaugh era does not give me confidence that they can do it going forward. PSU hasnt exactly had QBs to do it either for a little while. We all talk about needing a defense to stop B1G offenses, but its not like we have some juggernauts.
  20. I dont remember if it was just a random rumor or not but didnt we consider him for OC last year when looking around.
  21. Yeah I think this is the thing. He has already proven he can win in p5 with these coaches. He didnt have to bring in a wow staff to win at Baylor. As far as I can tell he is getting young energetic coaches that are imbedded in key recruiting areas for us. Recruiting is about building long term relationships in the areas you want to pull kids out of. Notice what Rhule did as soon as recruiting opened up. He went on a tour of key Nebraska schools to start building bridges. If he has proven he can win with and develop young coordinators then it makes sense to bring them in and then you have a full staff spread out to get players from where you think you can. I think this is why we made a run at Elijah Robinson and Schumann. Trying to get our foot in either the south east or Texas.
