Very true.

Thats a bold statement. BUT people are fools to not realize there is some truth to that. Those teams were LOADED much more than any we have had in a long long time. I don't think any of the QB's stated where as good as Frazier, and if anything Crouch and Frost are the only two QB's that I think might have won a natty with the teams that Frazier did.

Anyone have any idea what Gebbia's weighing now a days? Milton is 5'11" 185, Gebbia was listed at 6'3" 185 on the Schools football page. So if he was able to put on 10-15 pounds then the worries about him not being able to take a hit should be gone

He almost didn't redshirt if I remember correctly. And people were losing their collective sh!t last year when he committed. There is a reason for that, the guy can sling it and is a bona fide gamer. And honestly POB is a gamer to but I think he fits the offense a little less that Gebbia does. It seems like we are always so quick to write off the players we have (especially at the QB position) for the next hot thing coming in. Gebbia and POB are far from proven commodities but lets not write them off just yet. Riley did not leave the cabinet bare here.

I’m rooting for Gebbia. He impressed me with his mobility and decision making in the spring game. Plus he’s a redshirt freshman so he could be the guy who leads frosts turnaround here. I think he’s our best option currently

His right reason may be to get far away from dad for awhile -
I think I'm in the minority but I like the stripes down the side of the pants, however It wouldn't bother me if they went back to the plain red/white pants. But I don't want to go back to the all black shoes. Very few players wear short socks, most wear full or 3/4 spandex, and I think the white and red cleats look pretty sharp

Wasn't he on the hot seat before the season started? Seems like I remember recently there was talk about him potentially being fired, then they got hot and of course that talk stopped. -

I didn’t realize that Moos left his Alma mater to come to Nebraska. He must have had quite the vision to do something like that. If the apparent is true then he is definitely heading in the right direction! -

Maybe Moos can somehow use his connection with Knight to make Addidas step up their game in the uni business, make the threat of us switching to Nike someday hold some water! -

Sources I hear in my head told me that Tom was actually at Scott's house for supper and Scott was still at work. Scott's wife was making lasagna which everyone knows is Tom's favorite. Tom was very hungry and was growing impatient so he call Scott and told him it was time to come home.....so they could eat the delicious lasagna -

When Do You Think A New Hire Will Be Announced?
Husker from Kansas replied to Hayseed's topic in Husker Football
Internet is crazy! If it's Frost we will won't here until after next weekend, IF it's not then we will probably hear Wednesday this week at the latest. But I think it's Frost and the later in the week we get with no news is a good sign that it's for sure him imo -

I'm sure Riley knows, but no coach is going to come into a press conference and go all half baked on everyone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztCxilMDyDo -

I know I’m probably going to be crucified for this but I think we as a fan base need to understand that if we don’t get frost then the chance of a splash hire is small. At that point we need to really take off the rose colored glasses and try figure out who really will be our next HC. I know everyone is against Beliema but out of a lot of the available coaches he has the most experience in the BIG. He also won a lot of games at Wisconsin running a system that us as Nebraska fans can appreciate and get behind. I want Frost badly but if he isn’t coming I honestly wouldn’t hate if we hired Beliema. Plus his wife is pretty hot and that’s always a bonus! Happy Thanksgiving fellow Husker Fans! -
Hypothetical: How does Tanner Lee's skillset translate....
Husker from Kansas replied to Cdog923's topic in Husker Football
IF Frost comes here, I think Gebbia will be the guy, He has experience in a spread system in HS, he is a film junkie, and he's more athletic than Lee or POB. Plus as a RsFr he would have the potential to have 4 years as a starter, and the potential to win a whole lot of games and be the guy who orchestrated our turn around -
I think Lee will be a decent/good NFL prospect. Sure he threw a ton of picks but he also got his ass kicked time after time, game after game this season. He got hit on what seemed like every other drop back. And he has played better the last few weeks. Not great but better. I think he could be one of those guys similar to Brad Johnson or Matt Hasselback that has ability to be a game manager.
