I think we could use him on a few gadget plays but I don't think we should use him too much. We need him to stay fresh and healthy if we want to be successful.

Just curious on who everyone thinks our main running back will be next season. As long as they both stay healthy I think we'll have a good running game though.

Yeah I heard that as well. I think Tom Osborne or Jim Delany mentioned it in a press conference.

Wow way low on both Crick and Amukamara. Also the guy hasn't figured out how good Burkhead is going to be. He should be on that top 25 list and in my mind is better than Helu.

I think this could explain why Texas turned down the Pac-10. A&M not going would be a drawback of joining the Pac-10 and could possibly have been the deal breaker.

That's a nice list of games. I hope I'm able to catch most of those.

I think this season deserves more hype than previous seasons. I think it's been a while since we were favored in all our games going into a season and had a top 10 pre-season ranking.

If we weren't better off financially and wouldn't have Texas running the conference I would rather stay in the Big 12. We have a lot of tradition in the Big 12 so I would rather stay there even though I think we will fit in well with the Big Ten.

BC never got his quarterbacks to stick around longer than two years...so who knows Wait. Now it's BC's fault that Harrison Beck left? I don't really think so... Beck had his own issues. And Ganz stuck with us. Don't really mind that Taylor was here only 2 years; that was out of everyone's control. The only option would have been to not bring him in, and I'm sure NONE of us regret that. I don't know why we started Keller over Ganz though. Ganz was clearly better and instantly improved our offense once Keller got hurt. I think Callahan or Watson messed up big time by playing Keller over Ganz. This has been discussed many times, but Keller was 'clearly' better in practices, but couldn't command the team like Ganz did. Guys just played harder for Ganz, and Ganz was also in the zone during gametime - a real 'gamer.' That's the rare-ish kind of thing you don't really see on the practice field. Heck, the last few games of that year were just shootouts with no defense on either side, and Ganz threw a bunch of interceptions. There was a LOT of improvement in Ganz from that year to the next IMO. So Ganz gave us a 'spark', but it wasn't because he was a better QB. When Keller won the job, he won it fairly and the coaches, including Watson, said the race it was close. Back then, it was 'clear' to everyone that the coaches were just paying Ganz some lip service, making him feel better about himself so he wouldn't transfer. I watched Keller play and Ganz play and to me it was obvious Ganz was more talented that year. Maybe your right about the practice but the way Keller was playing I would have thought they would have at least given Ganz some looks like we did with Cody Green this year. Ganz only had one single pass attempt before the Texas game which would explain his high amount of INT's. Maybe it was just a bad practice for Keller but at a practice I watched they had all the QB's throwing and Keller threw two interceptions and the rest of the QB's didn't throw any. It was also obvious that Ganz could get the ball down the field better than Keller. Maurice Purify got half of his yards and 2/3 of his touchdowns in the 3 games Ganz started. I think not starting Ganz over Keller was the 2nd worst decision Callahan made (the first being not getting rid of Cosgrove).

I'd like the prospect to continue our game with Kansas. I think it would be an interesting game now that they have Turner Gill. I don't think we should blame them for staying in the Big 12. If they could have joined a conference like the Big Ten they would have.

Nice pick up. Between him, Carnes, Turner, Martinez, and Green things are looking good at QB.

Since we are without Suh this year Who does everyone think will be our impact player this season?

Why didn't we have a protected crossover game with OU when the Big 12 was formed?

Everything seems to add up but I'm really not sure whether to believe it or to believe Texas was heavily considering going to the Pac-10 but changed their mind.

I give them 3-5 years but if the Big Ten or another conference expands sooner than that it could easily be 1 or 2 years.

I voted for OU. If we weren't already playing Texas I would have voted for them but since we are I think it would be neat to beat our old rival on the way out.

I went with Martinez since I think he will develop into a good dual threat qb. Green hasn't shown me much yet.

I've been wanting a playoff for a long time but I don't think you could do it where those conferences are the only ones allowed. The Big East, ACC, or any of the other conference would never agree to that.

I hope if we have to pay it that we do it on the condition that is distributed equally and Texas, OU, and A&M don't get most of it.

You shouldn't they signed their death warrants a long time ago. They really don't have much of a choice though. They either give Texas everything they want or it's the MWC or Conference USA for them.
