  1. I think it is starting to look bleak. The Ivy League is expected to announce moving the season until Spring 2021. Could be the first to set off a chain reaction like they (the Ivy League) did with conference championships in basketball. https://theathletic.com/1911122/2020/07/06/will-college-football-season-actually-happen-this-fall-ivy-league/
  2. I don’t see any need to rush a guy back who is the 3/4 corner but a special teams starter. Would like to see a conservative approach and give the kid a redshirt - and possibly contribute in the last 4 games to preserve the rs.
  3. Latrell Neville on the 4th seems to be the next one up.
  4. Odd that they would have Gunnerson on this list over Keem Green (or even some of the redshirt freshman on defense). I'm thinking Gunnerson is headed for a redshirt year as he is a tweener and will likely take a year to figure out how he best fits.
  5. Yes to all of this! Also, tough to know what goes into the playing time equation. A lot of coaches value off-season work, weight staff input, meeting promptness / being on time, and taking film evaluation to the field (fixing issues addressed in film) if a competition is close. Williams and McQuity may feel like they are making plays in practice but players often fail to see full picture.
  6. Hopefully Lutovsky has put in some work here. Not only is Bollers a baller , losing him to Wisc would hurt.
  7. Here's the link for those interested: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-ten-coach-rankings-2020-james-franklin-stays-at-the-top-but-ryan-day-closes-the-gap/ I think Fleck is rated a bit too high and should not be ranked over Paul Chryst, who I believe is ranked too low.
  8. That would be a good to great landing spot for JD, especially considering he would be able to play right away. I'm not sure with everything going on if the NCAA will have time to process his request before the season. Also going to NDSU to play with a future 1st rounder would help boost his draft stock - if he is still inclined to play football as you astutely point out.
  9. As always, appreciate the time you put into recruiting info Mav. May need to add Safety to priorities for this class as we will be thin after this year.
  10. That's a pretty interesting comment for a commit to make. He should have no problem then if a better option for DONU comes along and we take it and his spot is filled.
  11. It is a great problem to have and Fish has done a great job building up his room! Bootle seemed to have better ball skills and tracking at safety than at cb last season. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start at cb and float as needed as Mav mentioned and landing Joseph would further enable Fish to do so.
  12. Agree with a lot of this. I think it would be tough for him to crack the starting lineup this year but could work himself into some playing time on D and being a major special teams contributor year 1 and then potential starter the next 2 years.
  13. Be a nice late pick up after losing Henry Gray.
  14. I was premature in my prediction based on what I was hearing about interactions with other husker recruits in texts. The recent twitter interactions bring back my faith a bit that we are still in a good spot.
  15. SURELY, he didn't mean that.... (is my joke too obvious)
  16. I just saw this as well and is good news for outlook on 20202 season! I would have to imagine the rest of teams, save maybe Maryland and Rutgers (due to state politics), will be back around the same time.
  17. Possibly updated plans and video of what to expect in new facility??
  18. Pretty solid and in-depth look. Lengthy but definitely worth the read/skim.
  19. Speculation starting to swirl he may soon be committing...
  20. Anyone heard what time he is announcing today?
  21. Not really... especially if one the things he is looking for is a bowl/wining team.
