Big issue against MSU was not having an OC in the booth because he was the O-line coach. That was modified against Michigan. You saw how it worked against UM and ND. But he still wants an O-Line coach down on the field.

The difference between Clemson and MSU is that Clemson has a secondary. If they can stop Henry, they win. MSU's issue was, while they could stop Henry, they couldn't stop the other aspect of the offense.

Not sure what attrition will be like for the teams, but Ohio State plays 2 of the 4 teams in this year's playoffs next season. Both of those are away games for OSU.

They have to win both their remaining games or Ohio State also has to lose against MIchigan. If MSU beats OSU, but loses to PSU, OSU is still in assuming they beat UM If OSU beats MSU and UM wins both their games, UM is in. Basically all three teams need to win both their games to move on.

It was the right call. IIRC, MSU would have been in FG position already, so barring the ability to run out the clock by running around crazy, MSU still would have had a chance to score. As is, MSU almost lost still. Had he not dove the way he dove, they wouldn't have scored the TD and would have still lost.

All kidding aside they are a decent team. They're not quit Big 2 little 12 yet, but they are light years ahead of what they've been since 2007. Hoke had a good year, but the chemistry isn't as evident as they are this year. But yes, it will be interesting to see how they respond to thus gut wrenching of a loss.
