Rats leaving a sinking ship.

Bannon is just being tossed off the ship because Trump needs to stop the bleeding after his bad week. This is more PR move than personnel move.

Bannon is not out of Trump's circle, and won't stop having an influence on him.  This move really means next to nothing.

Yeah you're right about it being a total PR move.  Add him to list of people Trump has parted ways with since he took office.  Just unreal.
