nice find jsneb.   i wonder how warm it really was?   still think it had to be pretty warm.   i've never seen anything happen ike that even when 100 here.  maybe it's a different type of asphalt they are using?

According to weather reports, highs in Tarzali were in the low to mid 70's (F) the past week when this happened.  I could handle a winter like that
